Defining us

       Alice's Prov:

         Evan was here. Why out of all the places and timing? Apparently Ryder sensed something was wrong with me because he laid his hand on mine.  

     "Alice what's wrong?" Did he not see Evan?  Should I tell Ryder that Evan was here?  Ryder looked over my shoulder and saw what was wrong with me. 

    "Evan is here. Maybe I should go have a chat with him." Ryder started to rise out of the chair he was sitting in but, I grabbed his arm. 

  "Ryder sit back down please." I begged. 

   "Why?" Why he asked? Maybe it was because I didn't want him causing a scene in a public place. 

    "I don't want you to cause a scene in public." 

    He looked at me for a moment then looked at Evan who saw Ryder and me and started smirking. 

   "Well looks like I'm going have to considering he's walking this way." Ryder gestured his finger in Evan's direction.  This was just great note my sarcasm.

   "Well, well what do we have here?" Why couldn't Evan just leave me alone? It would make my life ten times better if he would just leave me alone. 

    "Well what we have here Evan is a date which you are interrupting." Ryder said then he put his arm around me protectively.  I kind of liked this side of Ryder the 'I'll protect what's mine.'  I'm not even his or was I? I looked at Evan who had this death glare on his face directing it towards Evan. 

 "Really Alice you left  me for this?" Evan gestures to Ryder. I didn't really want to talk to Evan so I sat there quietly hoping he would decide to leave Ryder and me alone. 

"Listen Evan you need to leave Alice alone."

"Oh wow what are you going do if I don't asshole?" Finally having enough of Evan's stupidity Ryder balled his hand in Evan's shirt.

"Lay your hand on her ever again and I'll dislocate your arm. Now get out of here." 

Just when I thought Evan would take Ryder's advice and leave Evan swung his fist at Ryder. Ryder dodged it and tackled Evan to the floor.  'This isn't going be good I need to help some how' While thinking of ways to help out the manger came out fuming.

"If you guys can't behave I have to ask you to leave!"  

"He started it." Evan spat.

"Yeah , ok sure." 

"I don't care who started it just get out of here."

"This isn't over boy." Evan declared and stalked off.

Ryder's Prov:

     I knew Evan was an ass I just didn't know he was this big of one.  I can't believe Alice went out with someone like him. She seems like such a nice girl and well he isn't nice. 

    After what happened at Taco Bell Alice wasn't much up for conversation. I didn't really blame her so I stayed quiet to. 

Just when we arrived at Alice's house she pulled on my sleeve.  

"Ryder did you mean what you said back there?" 

"What do you mean?" 

"That we were on a date?" Was this girl serious after spilling my heart out to her she still don't know how's I felt about her.

Instead of answering her silly question I brushed her loose strand of her brunette hair and bring her lips towards mine. I never felt like this before kissing her was like breathing.  I was out of air and she was my oxygen.  

Before it got to heated I pull back and asked "Did that answer your  question?"

Alice looked at me and opened her mouth to speak but couldn't so I kissed her again.  Knowing her and I didn't need words to express how we both felt for one another. --
