I quickly left the shop, holding Hecate in my arms, and exited Diagon Alley. I only have 30 minutes to get back home, as I had planned on leaving Diagon Alley earlier than this. I practically jogged home, dragging my suitcase behind me, and holding Hecate in my arms tightly. She purred up against me as I ran, snuggling her head into my chest.
I finally reached the manor, and head inside, panting and out of breath. I don't enter the normal front entrance of my house though, I go around the back, and through the gate, out to where the animals stay. My parents own a small farm that they use to sell for more money.
I quickly brought Hecate to Maid Louise. She was in charge of anything that was happening in the farm area.
"Louise! Hey Louise!" I yelled across the farm. She turned around with a look of surprise on her face when she saw Hecate in my arms. She headed over to me, her eyes not leaving Hecate as she walked across the property. I handed it to her and leaned up to whisper in her ear, "Listen, this is going to be the pet I take to Hogwarts. I bought her myself, so please keep her safe and hidden, and get a message to Maid Persephone about dropping her off at Kings Cross after Mother and Father have dropped me off. Okay?" I finished, looking up at her. She didn't answer, just nodded at me with her friendly smile and big blue eyes. She took Hecate in her hands, and I kissed Hecate on the head and sent her off with Maid Louise. I then dusted the cat fur off my blouse, and headed towards the front door.
Maid Molly was there waiting for me. I then realized that she was the maid who had handed me the bottled water for my trip. She smiled at me and opened the door for me. I smiled back and said, "Thank you for the water! It definitely went to use!" I pulled out the now empty water bottle that I had gulped down on my walk to the front door. I now felt much better, but I just wanted to lie down and take a nap, or read one of my books. She let me inside, and then walked off to do something else.
I headed up the stairs, pulling my seemingly weightless suitcase along with me. I reached the top of the stairs, and managed to drag myself into my room and flop down on my bed, instantly falling asleep as my head hit the pillow.
I dreamed about Hecate running around at Hogwarts, playing with some other kittens.
I can't wait for Hogwarts!
