Amber Alert

Chapter 4

Taylor's POV

I woke up in pain. Pure pain. My vision is so blurred, from my crying, that i cant see where i am. I here slight wimpering. Probably from laci, or from myself. I remember our horrible experience last night, with Nick.

We learned that our kidnappers name is Nicholas. He went to the bar for a while and once again locked us in a cage. Laci tried to tell Nick, that if he let us go, she promised that we would not tell the police or our parents.

Of course he said no. He is stubburn. He took something of mine that belonged to the person i grew to love in the future.

My vision came back to normal and i could see Laci across the cage from me. She was indeed crying to herself. She looked horrible. I laid down and dicided that maybe if i go to sleep, ill wake up and everything will be back to normal. Everything that happened in these past two days was just a bad, bad nightmare.

I Woke up, being dragged out of the house and into the garage with Laci. We were forced into the car, and into our seatbelts. Nick explained that he was going out of town and staying at a motel, so he had to take us with him in case the police find us. I wish he would let us stay here, and maybe the police would find us, and we would be saved.

Those things only happened in movies. This is not a movie. Its reality. And reality hurts like hell.

We were driving down the main highway passing by cars, one by one. I looked out of the window on the right side of Nick's car and saw a big black sign with orange letters that said Amber Alert: two female girls. 18 and 19. car #: HMY78TR (fake)

I guess there is a little hope. Maybe someone will see that this is the amber alert car. Please lord let someone find us. for god's sake he is taking us to a motel. he is going to rape, and or kill us. please. please. please. someone find us.

Harry's POV

Me and Louis were taking a little ride to the movies, then stop and get some pizza. He is my bestfriend, and we havent hung out with eachother in a long time, so i thought this would be a really nice get together with him. My heart sinks a little when we past an Amber Alert sign above all the traffic on the main highway. I see some people in other cars pointing at this small blue car ahead of us.

It took me a little to realize it, but i saw that the car in front of me and louis, was the amber alert car. I ripped my iPhone out of my jeans pockets and dialed 911.

"Hello, 911. What is your emergency?"

"Hi um.. im harry. I see an Amber Alert car right in front of me and my friend."

"Ok sir. Whats the licence plate?"

"Oh um its kinda hard to make out but im pretty sure it says, HMY78TR"

"Ok sir, may i ask, where are you?"

"Im on the main highway. I99."

"Ok sir. Can you please stay on the phone and follow this car for a little bit until the police find your the location?"

"Yes ma'am. It just took exit 435."

"Ok sir please follow them. The police are on there way."

"We followed them for a good fifteen minutes and the police still werent there. the woman got off the phone with me, and said if she needs any thing, she will just track my phone. Louis was sort of nervous about following this criminal. He thought he might be armed or the girls might not be with him and that we were wasting our time. the police should have arrived a while ago. I told him to just keep going.

The man made a fast/quick turn down a fourwheeler path, and louis said he was not following him, but i made him go down the road anyway. The guy pulled over and got out of the car. He was approaching me and louis. I was nervous as hell. My heart was beating right out of my chest. He wasnt armed. he knocked on the window and louis pulled it down.

"Can i ask why your following me?"

louis spoke back in a sassy voice. "Can i ask why your license plate is the same as the one on the amber alert sign?"

oh louis. he was going to get himself hurt, or in trouble with that mouth of his. He was always the sassy type.

"Ok, let me get this straight. i did not kidnap anyone. i just simply took my two daughters from my ex-wife. we were divorced and trying to fight a custody battle. she won, but i couldnt live without my babies. Please just let me be. I love them so much. We were just going to the store so i could get some groceries and gas. Im sorry for all the trouble you two boys probably went through, but i really need to go. Sorry" and with that he walked away.

Louis said that he was still going to follow him. Later, he arrived at a gas station and parked at a gas pump. he filled his car, and went inside, to pay. Louis and I jumped out of the car and casually walked over to the guys car. I looked inside with louis and i first saw these two gorgeous girls in the back seat. They were asleep. I knocked on the window. Louis poked me in the side and when i turned to look at him, i noticed the horried expression on his face. i looked in the front window and noticed there was Pistol. two packs of 9 millimeter bullets and a huge swichblade.

The two girls tossed and turned. and one with black hair looked up and by the look on her face, she was surprised. She started banging on the window. i could hear her screaming help. I looked around and saw that the guy still wasnt around. Louis grabbed a window cleaner beside the gas pump, and told the girl to get back. He smashed the window. That made the older looking girl jump and wake. She was very pretty just like the other girl.

The car alarm went off, which gave us a bunch of stares of horror from the other people in the lot. The two girls climbed out. We started running to me and louis car and told them to follow. We all got in by the time the guy came out of the store. He was sprinting towards our car. Louis started it and flew out of the gas station parking lot and was now speeding on the highway.
