Back in Atlanta.. Six years ago...

Nelly's POV

I walk up to my now empty bedroom and give it one last glance, then grab the last box containing my posters and nick nacks, then head back outside to Grayson's car. We have decided that since we'll be getting married soon, why not move in with each other! I know what y'all are thinking... Y'all probably like 'But your only seventeen!' I know guys, I know, but hey believe it or not, I'm ready. Grayson's ready.

My grandma got married at fifteen and had ten kids! Not all at once though lol. Anyways, her and my granddad are still together and they truly love each other with all of their hearts. That's what I want with Gray! I want to grow old with him and tell our kids how we got married at a 'young age' and how we met. I can't stress that enough how bad I want all that. Although, I am gonna miss my parents, Michael and Tino....

They said they'd visit though so, we're all good. In all honesty, I was surprised when we came back to Atlanta, literally everybody was there at my house to throw us a surprise party! It was pretty lit if you ask me. Apparently they knew that Grayson was gonna to propose to me, because he asked my dad about a week ago. I can't be anymore happier and grateful for how my life is going right now..

I walk back over to my parents and give them both hugs, feeling tears threatening to come out of my eyes as I do so. I pull back and see my mom now in tears as my dad try's to hold his at bay. I say, holding onto both of her hands,"Aww don't cry ma, your gonna make me cry." She nods vigorously while saying,"I'm sorry baby girl. It's just that, you're growing up so fast! Are you sure this is what you want?" I kiss her hand and say,"It's okay momma, and I'm one hundred thousand percent positive that this is what I want. What I need. I love you."

She smiles and pull me into one more hug saying,"I love you too Nelly." After a couple seconds, I pull away and turn to my dad who quickly wipes away a tear from his cheek, thinking I didn't see him and that immediately makes tears fall from my face. I don't know why, but it's just something about seeing your dad or father figure cry that just tears you apart..

I say softly,"Dad? Are you okay?" He nods with his mouth closed tightly, kinda pouted, and look around trying to avoid my gaze. I say,"Dad?" He finally looks down at me and grab his hat from his head and cover his face with it, crying softly. Oh God... I immediately break down and grab onto his arm saying,"D-Dad please don't cry." He pulls me into a hug and put his head in the crook of my neck saying,"Your my baby girl Nelly! I just got back and now your leavin me!"

That only makes me cry harder and hold onto him tightly saying,"I'm sorry dad." He then pulls away slowly and wipe his tears vigorously and stare right into my eyes saying,"You don't need to apologize Nelly. I'm happy, for really I am. I'm just gonna miss you pumpkin. I have to protect your heart. I mean, I just got back a couple months ago and now some guy came and just swept you right off your feet and into his arms. But you know what, if you happy, I'm happy baby girl. And I trust Grayson to protect and be there for you, but remember, be smart and make the right decisions or your gonna wind up in a situation that could break you. Do you hear me sweetheart?" I nod and say,"Yeah I hear you dad."

He smiles and whisper in my ear,"Alright now, go ahead and hug your cry baby brother before he pees his self. I love you." I chuckle and peck his cheek saying,"Okay and I love you too dad." I give him one last hug then slowly walk over to Valentino who looks like he's struggling to keep his composure. I say sniffling,"Hey Tino.." He saids,"Sup Nelly..........Oh, che sto prendendo in giro, vengo qui Nelly. (Oh who am I kidding, come here Nelly)" I smile as he pulls me into a hug saying,"I'm gonna miss you Nelly..." I say,"I'm gonna miss you too Tino, but your gonna visit us right?"
