She looks up at me and I can't help but cringe at the fear in her eyes as she asks,"Y-You don't want us to get married G-Grayson?"..........

Present..

Grayson's POV

I quickly say,"Hell no! Of course I want us to get married Nelly! I thought I made that pretty clear at the office earlier today?" She looks down with a sigh of relief and say,"Then what is it Gray? Just tell me." I say,"I-I just feel like I'm putting a lot of stress on you Nelly. A-And I don't wanna mess up, because when we get married, there's no turning back. As if I would want to. I don't want to be a bad husband by having petty arguments like this. I don't want to confuse you with my feelings anymore. Being married isn't about all that."

I wrap my arms around her waist and lift her up, placing her on the counter saying,"We aren't about all that. I know what I want, and that's you baby girl. That will never change. I'm sorry for sorta pushing you away and thinking that we spent too much time together. It was petty, I know and-" She cuts me off with a gentle kiss. Perfect way of telling me to shut up...

After a while she pulls back and say,"It's okay Gray. I understand. Just tell me whatever your feeling next time okay? An don't ever push me away again, got it?" I smile and say,"I got it. I won't push you away ever again baby girl." She smiles back and kiss my cheek, then get down from the counter saying playfully,"Good, now finish preparing me a feast peasant."

I chuckle and smack her butt playfully and say,"You got it madam." She laughs and walk into the living room to watch Tv I'm assuming..

Thirty minutes later...

Once I'm finished cooking, I prepare both of our plates and place them both on the coffee table in the living room saying,"Dinner.... Is served." She places her laptop and notebook down saying,"Oooh Gray, this looks great. Thank you baby." I smile and sit beside her on the couch saying,"Your welcome princess. Let's dig in." She nods and we say grace, then dig right in. She saids,"This is great babe. You should be a chef." I laugh and say,"No way! I only cook for you and our children."

She smiles and say while blushing,"Okay." I say while chewing some steak,"So.... Today.... Nelly, I'm not sure about you working that long... Or at all.." She sighs and say,"I'm not sure about it either Gray. It's really tiring." I say,"So what do you want to do?" She sighs and run her fingers through her hair saying,"I don't know Gray... I talked to Valentino today and he thinks we're moving too fast. He said we're too young for all this and that I'm too young to be working. You know, I really thought he was on board with my decision baby... but he's not."

I place my plate down on the table and place her on my lap saying,"He'll come around sometime princess, but that doesn't even matter. You know I'm on board with whatever you do. So who cares if he doesn't agree with what we are doing with each other. I'm with you baby girl, and I always will be. No matter what." She smiles warmly at me and peck my lips saying,"Thank you Gray and I know you are, but I think I should continue working. Just for like a year or so. I'll talk to Daniel and see what he can do about my time schedule okay?"

I sigh and rub my hand up and down her thigh saying,"Okay... Are you sure about this baby?" She nods and say, while cupping the side of my face in her hands,"Yeah. I'm sure Gray... Are you okay with it?" I say,"Like I said before, I'm on board with every decision you make baby girl." She nods and kiss my cheek saying,"Just wanted to make sure." I chuckle and she tries to get off of my lap but I tighten my grip on her waist and say softly, not wanting her to move,"Stay here baby."
