Chapter Fifty Four - Finally! Nag kita din ang Groom at Bride-

Happy, excited but worried.

 That’s what I felt right now. Happy because finally the member of entourage are marching now going to the altar, and I a groom is standing right now here at the altar waiting for my bride, bride na until now clueless pa din ako kung nasa paligid na ba. I don't know, I didn't even saw her. Beside me are the people who who's very important in my life, my happy parents, my best friend Marky and of course my pretty little lady who was so cute in her motif gown, it was Thea’s favorite color fuschia with combination of light pink. According to my Mom it was her choosen motif color which is iki- natuwa naman ng anak ko.I smiles as I looked at my little girl, Nah! A proud Daddy here! Hindi man kami nag success ni Nina but when it come's to Thea sobrang successful parents naman kami.

A while ago... My heart melt in happiness as I saw my little girl, she is the one who escorted me going to the altar instead of my parents. At her age my little girl was so matured. Bibo pa nga nito. And now as I waited my bride Thea hold my left hand. Feels like my little girl acted as a supportive Mother. And in that thought I smiles still my eyes on her. How lucky I am to have her in my life. Isa nalang ang kulang and that’s my wife. The wife I need beside me and the girl who turn my world up side down. She’s all I need to complete my life.

My heart pumps fast as I heard the intro of that familiar song. Lester the well-known local vocalist was the one I asked to sing that song for the bride while she’s walking the aisle. So, this is it? I swallowed hard. Narito nga siya! Nawala ngiti sa mga labi ko, I felt na nangangatal yata mga bibig ko. And I know namumutla ako. What the heck! Mag mumura pa yata ako in front of this altar ah!

“Dude! Corny ng pinili mo’ng song. It was so obvious na.....aah never mind.....”  Marky whispered at me mischievously, he was standing beside me kasi. Nak naman ng tokwa! Pakialaman ba naman pinili kung kanta. Eeee! I looked at him with annoyance. Kainis mga kaibigan ko'ng to ah!

“Here she goes. You’re lovely bride Dude!”  Mark again, and then he winked at me, sabay ngisi.

 

Wala sa sarili na sinundan ko ng tingin ang kanyang tinitingnan. At the entrance of the church, the door opened.  At nayanig yata buong sistema ko  as I saw my lovely bride. She was slowly walking at the aisle. I swallowed hard. I can't believe it! Woo! Kahit malayo pa siya I can see how pretty she is in her white gown.

Napalunok na naman ako ng sunod-sunod. I inserted my hand inside my pocket. Darn! I blinked my eyes for how many times. Hindi ako maka paniwala on this moment. And in this case! Bakit kinabahan ako ng sobra-sobra? Yeah! I am so much nervous. Nan lalamig buo kung katawan at nangi-nginig pa yata mga kaugat-ugatan ko. Pss! Packing sheet what was happening to me.??? At kelan pa ako nag ka nervous ng ganito? Parang mas okay pa yata sa akin na sana hindi siya dumating ah!  Pucha! Takot ako'ng matika siya, ewan, I want to see her, I missed her so much! But I am scared, natakot ako bigla kay Iyana. Para ako’ng daga na naka kita ng lion sa mga sandaling ito. Pack!

“Dude no turning back! Ayan na siya oh! Nak ng pating Dude, kalma ka nga, mukha kang kilawin ah! Sheet Dude, ang putla mo! Takot ka sa asawa mo no? Leche! Naku, Lagot ka!” Bulong ni Marky sa akin.

Pucha naman itong kaibigan ko. Imbis na palakasin loob ko tinakot pa yata ako. Napalunok nalang ako ng sunod-sunod at hindi ko na siya pinansin pa. I focus my eyes in my bride walking right now in the aisle with her Nanay. Siya nga ba ito'ng nakikita ko!  God! I can't believe it! Hindi ko alam kung iiyak ako oh ngingiti.

“Takot sa asawa! Tsk-tsk! Ilang baso ba ng suka nainom mo Dude?  Namumuti lang ang mga labi mo oh.” Marky again. Tila inaasar talaga ako.

I drew a deep breath!  And For pete’s shake kung wala lang kami sa loob ng simbahan ngayon na bigwasan ko na itong kaibigan ko. Best man nga. Best enemy din. Pssss! Wala manlang isip, sobrang lito na yong tao eh asarin pa talaga!

“Dude anu ba? Nga-nga ka nalang ba diyan ayan na asawa mo oh!” Marky said, in a low voice. Napamulagat pa ako ng sikuhin ako ng loko sa tagiliran! Psss! Makakaganti din ako sa lokong to. Humanda ka kapag ikaw naman na inlove. I swear and promise  in front of this altar gagantihan kita loko ka!

I blinked my eyes three times! Jesus! Naikuyom ko mga kamay ko sa loob ng pocket ko, I thought ka holding hands ko Thea, naku, nag tatago na pala nanlalamig kung mga kamay. God! I can't believe it! Siya nga! I gulped! She's here! Darn! She's real! I'm so speechless and ngayon lang ako walang alam sa dapat kung gawin.... hindi gumagana utak ko!  I can’t believe it! Pakiramdam ko na mamalik mata lang ako. I gulped again! Para akong robot na nakatitig lang sa kanya,  my Mom hugged her, while Dad kissed her in forehead. Eh ako anu? Tulad nga ng sabi ng olol kung best friend naka nga-nga lang ako habang naka titig sa napakaganda kung asawa. I can’t take my eyes away from her. Mas lalong bumilis tibok ng puso ko, at mas lalong dumami pawis ko, damn it! Sikip ng dibdib ko, sheet! Hope hindi ako hihimatayin.......

I swallowed hard as our eyes meet. Damn it Anthon! I want to smile at her, and I want to hold her, but sheet I can't move my body. Parang nagka ugat na yata ako doon sa kinatatayuan ko. Jesus! Mukhang hihimatayin yata ako! And Oh God! Help me to control myself. Sheet! My eyes become misty while naka titig lang ako sa magandang mukha niya... I can't believe it!  I miss her! In this moment I want to hug her tight and kiss her passionately. Sheet! Anak ng tokwa ka Anthon James Lopez!!! MOve man! Move!!!! Baka abutin kayo ng umaga kung mag titigan nalang kayo.... Wake up man! This is it! Yan na siya sa harap mo, sobrang ganda....Move!
