Chapter Twenty Five -Moment with Gab.2-

Hindi ko napigilan sarili ko na ilibot paningin ko sa madilim na karagatan. Kahit na mga ilaw lang ng small fisherman’s nakikita ko ngayon sa karagatan kay sarap parin iyon sa  pakiramdam tingnan. Idagdag pa ang kay  lamig na hangin na nasasamyo ko. Ah! For a change! Halos ginugol ko na kasi mga araw ko sa loob lang ng opisina namin. Hindi ko manlang napapansin ganito’ng mga tanawin. And I close my eyes to savor the sweet breeze.   It’s a perfect night. Very perfect! At nasaan na kaya iyo’ng pefect boyfriend ko?

Mahanap na nga ang baby Ga----…

“Ms. Iyana Reyes, will you marry me?”

 

 

Pag lingon ko… I saw Gab kneeling in front of me. He is holding that diamond ring. A very captivating ring.  That any woman’s dream off to have on their finger.

I blinked. Once again I am speechless. I just look at his handsome face. With that wide eyes! Oh my Ghadd! Gab surprised me again. I never – ever expect this. I mean  It’s too early to have his proposal. Very early, I’ll never-ever imagine this. Swear!

“Baby will marry me?” Madamdaming saad nito, habang na ka titig ng mariin sa akin. His blue eyes were full of love and desire. Ghadd! Why this man is so perfect almost everyday! I am very much speechless. Tila puno’ng –puno ng kasiyahan puso ko, umaapaw na iyon. At wala na ako’ng pag lagyan pa. Naiiyak ako. God is so good to me. He never leaves me, after that storm from my past  here is the sunshine I’ll wait. Gab-Gab-Gab. It’s because of Gab.

And what could I ask for? Everything is perfect. Much perfect.

“Gab is you serious?”  I asked him, in a teary eyes.  Iyon nalang biglang naitanong ko dahil wala na ako’ng maisip pa. Wala na, sobrang saya ko, napakasaya.

“Do I look like kidding baby?” He said smiling. “I am serious babe. All my life I’ll never think doing corny thingy. But, The very first time I laid my eyes on you, I told into my self that you are the perfect one who pair for me, that you the one can give me a children and to be with me for the rest of my life. The time you confessed about your past I’ll never think that as a negative. That’s the reason why I more pursue this relationship of us because I want to take good care of you, to protect you to anyone. Because I really love you Yana, really do. Now marry me please.”
