Trouble in Paradise

Chapter 47

"So does this mean that you two are back together?"

I shake my head, "No. I dont know. All we did was kiss."

Jackie and i are walking to lunch together. There is only a week left before school lets out for the summer, and i am super excited.

"Well, what happened after you guys' kissed?"

"I asked him how baseball was going, which triggered something in him to make him talk non stop about baseball. I sat there and listened to him talk about his favorite baseball team for over half an hour."

"So, everything is alright between you guys then?"

"Yeah, i think so."

Jackie and i walk into the cafeteria and get in line to get our lunch.

We sit down at our usual table and Jackie immediantly starts talking.

"Do you think you and Sam will get back together?"

"I hope we will be able to. I mean we got along just fine when we met up the other day."

"And what abou-"

She is interupted by loud shouting coming from across the cafeteria. I look over toward the noise to see what is going on, and see Sophia standing over Sami at his lunch table and screaming at him.

Sam is looking up at her with an amused smirk on his face, as Sophia stands over him with a murderous look on her face.

"YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A MOTHER FUCKING DOUCHE-BAG, SAMI TUCKER! I CANT BELIEVE THAT I EVER EVEN LIKED YOU! YOU'RE THE BIGGEST ASSHOLE AT THIS ENTIRE FUCKING SCHOOL!" She screams loud enough for the whole cafeteria to hear, and then adds, "AND YOU'RE NOT EVEN GOOD IN BED!"

Now i know thats a lie, for a fact. Sophia probably lied about having sex with him too. Or she would know that Sami is flipping fantastic in bed.

I look at Sam, amazed at how he is able to keep a straight face the entire time that Sophia is yelling at him. But i guess, it kind of would be bad if he got up and started yelling at a girl, no matter how much she deserves it.

"ARENT YOU GOING TO SAY SOMETHING, YOU DICK? OR DID YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN GO MUTE, OR SOMETHING?"

"Yeah, actually, i do have something to say," Sami says calmly, "could you please quit spitting all over my food? I was planning on eating it."

The entire cafeteria goes completely silent at Sams comment, then all at once their is a collective "ooooooh" from a lot of the students.

I laugh quietly at the look on Sophias face, its a mix of horror and anger. She honestly looks like she could murder somebody right now. That somebody most likely being Sami.

"Uggh! You are so goddamn frustrating!"

"Then why dont you do us both a favor, and leave me the hell alone."

Sophia tells Sami exactly where he can shove it, then storms out of the cafeteria, snapping at everyone who is in her way.

The cafeteria then goes back to its usual noisy self. Sam turns back around and resumes eating and laughing with his friends.

"What was that all about?" i wonder aloud.

"I bet shes just upset that Sami doesnt want anything to do with her now that he knows shes not actually pregnant."

Yeah, most likely.

I wait outside of Mrs.Gonzales classroom for Sami, and when i see him round the corner, hes talking with a group of his friends.
