Chapter 9

HARRY'S POV

I couldn't wait for the guys to meet my new girlfriend. This would show them I didn't always rely on them and I could find a girl on my own. Was I going too quickly?

We havn't even been on a date yet and I was alredy inviting her to meet the guys. Oh well I had alredy invited her now and I was really looking forward to it.

I had arranged to meet her here at 4.30pm and I thought we could go for dinner before the rehersal at 5.30pm. I was wearing blue jeans and an orange t-shirt with my white converses again.

I quickly checked twitter and no one had noticed us together yet. That was good. There were a few tweets asking me to come back to the Uk and that they missed me. Aww the fans were so sweet.

Kelly then knocked on the door and I opened it to find Kelly looking stunning. She was wearing a blue dress which was short at the front and long at the back. She wore black flats and for the first time I saw her with her hair down.

"Hi," she said sounding nervous, "You look nice." She said. "Not as nice as you look!" I replied. "Ready to go?" I asked. "Yeh." she replied. We got in a black limo and I intertwined our fingers.

Her hand tensed but I squeezed her hand and she relaxed. We pulled up at an exlusive restaurant that I had booked for the night.  I didn't want fans to interrupt our date.

We were shown to a table laden with candels and Kelly smiled. "You shouldn't have gone to all this trouble!" She said with a smile. "Anything for you." I said while I pulled out her chair.

She tried to sit down but I must have pulled the chair out too far because when she sat down she fell on the ground. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I said. This date wasn't off to a good start.

KELLY'S POV

I felt so acward sitting at this table with Harry. I really wanted this date to go well but I was worried I wouldn't like him. He might be my favourite member of One Direction but I don't know what he's like in real life!

Besides the fact that I fell off my chair a minute ago didn't really help this situation. "I'm sorry." Harry said again. "Its fine it was my fault." I said. I couldn't think of anything to say but finally Harry spoke up.

"So we don't really know much about each other," Harry said, "So how about you tell me about you life?" It was a little surprising that he was interested but I decided to tell him anyway hoping he wouldn't doze off half way through.

"Well I was born in London and had lived there all my life. When I went to school I was bullied by everyone except for one girl who later became my best friend. I hardly ever see my Dad because he works all the time and my Mum used to be an alcholic." I couldn't help it. I started to cry.

God this date was going well! I was crying and had fallen off my chair. "Are you alright?!" Harry said. He looked alarmed. "Yeh I'm fine." I replied. "You can stop if you want?" Harry asked. He was so considerate. "No I'm fine!" I said.

HARRY'S POV

What have I done? I asked her to tell me about her past and now she is crying. Well this date was going well. "Well my Mum gave up alcohol and school is going alright." She said and then smiled. "So tell me about you." She asked politely.

I continued to tell her about my childhood and rising to fame. She listened contently and smiled. Once we had finished our dinner we headed out to meet the boys for the concert rehersal.

When we were in the limo Kelly began to talk again. "Harry?" She asked. "Yeh?" I said. "Why did you choose me? Out of all the girls who would give anything to meet you, you put all that effort into finding me. Why?" She asked.

That question got me thinking. Mostly because I was lonely but I had convinced myslef it was more than that. She was really pretty but before tonight I knew nothing about her.

"I guess when I saw you something just clicked and I wanted to meet you." She smiled at me and nuzzeld her head into my shoulder. This date was better now. I smiled at my luck.
