Avoiding the truth

Chapter 30

*flashback*

"You know at some points in my life I never thought that I would find my princess but eventually I did and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I know I'm a lot to take on but." I paused. Kelly was crying. Happy tears I hope.

"Will you marry me?"

*end of flashback*

KELLY'S POV

The tears streamed down my face and I couldn't seem to form words. I wanted to despretly scream yes but my vocal chords didn't want to co-oporate. Niall looked at me expectantly and after a few moments of silence he has tears to. He started to close the box and my voice decided to work.

"YES!" I practically screamed before jumping on him, making us both fall over. "I love you so much Niall and I would love to marry you." I said and we stood up and Niall slipped the ring onto my finger.

"Its a perfect fit." He said winking before we kissed.

HARRY'S POV

Niall had just texted us all informing us about his recent engagement. We were all very excited about the upcoming wedding even though Niall mentioned he hadn't told Kelly yet.

Even though me and Louis had spoke about getting married niether of us had atually proposed yet and I was waiting nervously for him to do it. But maybe he was doing the same?!

I was so scared the wedding would come and niether of us would know if we were getting married or not! So I decided I would have to make the first move and I left a vauge note for Louis while he was sleeping.

Going out didn't want to wake you boo bear ;) you look so cute when your asleep ;) love you lots. speak later

I slipped out the door quietly, texting Niall to ask if he could come ring shopping with me. He called be back telling me he would meet me at the shops. I got in my car to search for the perfect ring for Louis.

LOUIS POV

I woke up to no Harry next to me. I knew I should have proposed already! He probably feels acward around me. I sat up rubbing my eyes and noticed a note taped to my pillow.

Well at least Im cute right? I quickly showered and dressed texting Liam to ask if he could go ring shopping with me. Today was the perfect time to buy one with Harry out of the way.

HARRY'S POV

We went into the nearest ring shop and straight up to the desk. "Hello can I help you?" A lady behind the desk asked. "Yes I was wondering if I could buy an engagement ring?" I asked embarresed. "Of course." She said smiling and leading me over to very girly looking rings.

"Um I don't think he would like any of these." I said laughing and the lady blushed. "Oh I'm very sorry, your looking for a ring for a male?" She asked apprehensivly. "Yes that is right." I said and Niall smiled ovisally amused by the situation.

"So do you see any you like?" She asked looking at Niall. "Well I'm not the one buying the ring." He said nodding at Harry. "Yes but I thought you to were..." She said and I blushed an even deeper red as Niall caught on and began to howl with laughter.

"I am engaged to a girl." He managed to say and the lady seemed deeply embarressed by all this. "Oh I am very sorry." She said. "I'll leave you to look now." She said not wanting to say anything else wrong.

"That was so embarresing." I stated and Niall continued to laugh. "I think I'll just pick one and get out." I said and Niall just laughed.

LOUIS POV

Liam and I had just pulled up at the shopping centre and began to walk towards the jewellers. "So are you nervous?" Liam asked. "A little I guess. You?" I asked referring to sofia. "Oh I forgot to tell you.. She.. um... said yes." Liam said breaking into a smile.

"Dude!" I said recieving strange looks from people as we hugged and he laughed. "Thanks." Liam said blushing as we walked into the ring shop. I immediatley spotted a silver ring that looked like someone and weaved it. I knew it was perfect for Harry as I walked over to it in awe. "This one." I said calling someone over to buy it.

"That was quick!" Liam gasped and the lady wrapped up the ring not talking much. I paid for it and she went to get a bag as I held the box in my hand.

Then I heard laughter coming from a room off to the side and two people came out. Id recognise that laughter anywhere. Niall. Then I heard Harry's voice and I froze.

HARRY'S POV

As I selected the ring I wanted I was led into a small room to pay. It didn't take long as the money went through and I held the box. "If you wait at the till I'll get you a bag." The man said and me and Niall walked out and he laughed. "That was the most acward ring buy ever." He said laughing. I groned and Niall stopped laughing.

He nudged me. "Look who it is!" He whispered as I turned around my eyes locked with Louis green ones and he smirked. The first thing I noticed was that he had a small box in his hand and I walked over pretending not to notice.

"Hey Louis." I said smiling. "What are you doing here?" I said acting innocent. Louis took a deep breath and got down on one knee. I did they same and we opened the boxeses at the same time.

I beagn to cry at how right we were for eachother.

We had chosen the same ring.
