"I'm going out to swim," I yelled through the house. I threw on a black bikini and went outside in the hot California weather.

"Can I come with you Audrey," Andrew comes outside to ask me. I haven't had much time for him recently.

"Of course baby boy!" He ran inside and got dressed quickly. "Where's everyone else?"

"Matt has football and Amelia has a doctor appointment, her mommy and daddy took her to it." I smiled softly at him, we've never had appointments. Our parents were our doctors, whenever we were sick, they would freak out.

Andrew never learned how to swim, we never swam in New York. There was no need for it for us locals. He hung out in the shallow end as we played a couple of games but then someone walked into the back yard.

"Hey Matt," I looked up from hiding my eyes at the voice that said it. It was Daniel.

"What are you doing here? Didn't you have football," I ask him and get out of the pool.

"It's Saturday and we just had a game, why would we need to practice mami?" I rolled my eyes at him and kept an eye on Andrew.

"That's where Matt said he would be." He nodded his head awkwardly.

"Since I'm here, can I ask you a favor mamacita?" Why should I give him a favor? But before I thought about that, I felt myself nod my head. "Johnson Motors is having a California business party in like an hour. I need to take someone and Serenity said that she was at Mariah's. Can you please come with me? I'll pay you."

"I don't need your money but I can't, I have to watch Andrew. I can't leave him alone." I pointed over to Andrew who was trying his hardest to swim.

"Bring him. I need to bring someone Aspen said, I can't go without anyone Miss Perfecta." He sighed and tugged his hair.

"I'll go if he can go. Stop stressing about this okay?" He nodded his head, stopping his hair tugging.

"Okay. I'll pick you up in an hour, dress business. I owe you one, novia." He ran out to what I assumed to be his house.

"Hey buddy, we're going to a party! Penelope will be there so you can play with her." I smiled at him and he got out of the pool.

"Yay! Penelope," He yelled and grabbed a towel, running into the house. I followed after him.

I picked a outfit with a red and white checkered shirt that I rolled up his sleeves, and some jeans. He took a shower first while I picked my outfit out. I chose to wear a cute baby pink pencil skirt with a cute black tank top that I tucked in. I decided to go with black pumps and a black necklace my mother gave me. I quickly showered once Andrew was done. I blow dried my hair so it wasn't all wet.

The doorbell ringed and I answered it while I was putting my necklace on. I opened it to reveal Daniel. He scanned me over and smiled before saying, "Not too bad mami." I smiled back at him and took in his appearance. He wore a blue dress up top with a black tie and black slacks. His hair was pushed back to make his face stand out.

"Dito," I said back while Andrew came downstairs. He smiled and hugged Daniel at his legs. "You look so handsome baby boy." He kisses my cheek as I place him on my hip.

"Looking dapper kid." Daniel looks at us with awe in his eyes. Andrew liked Daniel a lot, he hears a lot of stories about him from Penelope.

"You look very beautiful Audrey," Andrew said and kissed my cheek, giggling.

"He's very right." Daniel took my hand and kissed it softly. My breath hitched in my throat and he smirks at me when he returns my hand. "Let's get going. Aspen and Ryder left a while ago."
