"I'm taking you," Matt argued with me. I had on my grey fitted jacked with my monogrammed initials on it with light wash jeans. I grabbed a protein bar and the sandwich I made myself. I grabbed my backpack and glared at Matt.
"No you aren't I can barely stand to be in a room with you, let alone be in a confined space with you. I'm just looking out for your health," I said and gave him a fake smile, pushing past him but he gripped onto my arm.
"Don't make me tell my mom where you were last night." I laughed and pulled my arm out of his grip.
"Don't make me tell your mom what you've done in this house. Your Christian mother would be more ashamed of you. How does that commandment go again? Thou shall not commit adultery." I smirked at him and he got really mad at me, I was getting on his nerves.
"Don't act like you're so holier than thou, how does that commandment go again? Have no other Gods before me." I roll my eyes at his childsplay.
"My parents were Gods walking on this Earth. I never believed in God that much because medical miracles happened because of God, they happened because of my parents technique and quick thinking."
"They never believed in God that much either, explains it by the way they brought you up." I slapped him as hard as I could, I didn't know I was doing it until my hand collided with his cheek. I gasped as he held his cheek in pain and he looked regretful. "What the hell Audrey?"
"I swear, say one more thing about my parents and I'll tell your mom. Now for all you know, you just lost yourself a aunt, uncle and a cousin." I tried to walk away but he grabbed me again.
"I'm so sorry Audrey." I again pulled away from him and walked to Daniel's house screaming at him.
"Stay away from Andrew and I!" I see Daniel walk outside in his jeans and a white fitted shirt.
"Where are you going Audrey?" Matt yells from his car and I roll my eyes as Daniel looks very confused.
"Riding to school with the guy who's girlfriend you slept with!" Matt sighed, getting in his car as Daniel hugged me tightly before opening the door for me.
"What was that about novia," Daniel asks as he started to drive. He had his hand on my thigh, rubbing his thumb in circles.
"He demanded for me to ride in the car with him! I said no obviously and he brought up how I got home late last night, threatening to tell my aunt! I brought up his faith and the adultery thing and I'll tell his mom. He said the no other Gods before me and then I told him that my parents were surgery Gods. People worshiped their technique, I worship it! And he said that they obviously aren't Christian because of the way they brought me up." I sighed as he kissed my hand, squeezing it tightly.
"He shouldn't have said that babe." I nodded my head.
"I slapped him. I didn't even know I was doing until I did it. It was a reaction! He just didn't know them, he didn't study under them. God he's such a jerk!"
"Why are you so mad at him anyways? I mean you wanted me to break up with her. I'm kinda glad that she was cheating on me, not with Matt for a year. But I get to be with you now Aud." I smiled a little and kissed his cheek softly.
"I hate cheaters. I hate that I made you cheat on your girlfriend. I hate myself for that." I was fully vulnerable in front of him.
"Don't say that. Why do you hate them so much?"
"My dad almost cheated on my mom once, when I was little." He gripped onto my hand in a comforting motion.
"What happened?" I sighed. I hated this side of my parents, they both believed they were right in every argument. They were too stubborn and prideful, they butted heads a lot.
