When I woke up I was chained down. When I say chained down I mean CHAINED! As in I had heavy 1000 pound chains on my feet. My hands were free.  Daniel wouldn't even look me in the eye. Damn. I was almost to my freedom. I had been so stupid. I shouldn't have stopped. I should have just kept going. "Daniel." I said. No response. "Daniel I'm sorry." "I shouldn't have run off." "I just missed my family." "If you unchain me I won't run. "I promise." I said. "Shut up." he said coldly. "You should have listened to me!" he said screaming. "Please." I said. "They are crushing my legs." I said. He sighed and came and unlocked my chains. I sat up and buried my head in hands. "Come on." he said dragging me. We reached a yellow door. The first thing I noticed was the giant silver table. Like the ones when you get an x-ray. Then I saw about 5 different metal bars. "Ready for your tan?" Daniel asked. I didn't respond. I wasn't gonna give into his eyes.  No not again. "Oh and we have a surprise." he said. "Get up." he announced. I didn't move. "Get up." he stated again. "GET UP!" he screamed. I just cried. If I was never going to escape then what was the point in living? Why put myself through that pain. He picked me up and carried me to the silver table. "I'm so sorry."

"I hate doing this. They're watching. We'll talk later." he said whispering in my ear. I heard the door slam shut and just layed there. Reggie walked in with a recorder. Daniel trailed behind carrying a laptop like a helpless puppy. He didn't look at me. I began to become nervous. Please please don't make my family watch. I prayed. Please. I don't want them to have to see this. "Leave." Reggie stated. Daniel obeyed. Reggie was mad. I wouldn't blame him. I had jammed a fucking knife in his stomach. "An arm for a leg." he said looking up smiling. "In this case its a wound for a fucking nightmare." he said laughing. I hated his guts. I hated the feeling of hatred. NOBODY could be hated. NOBODY! No matter how mean they were. But this was different. He had forced a tiny seed of hatred. And little by little it grew. And when that seed grew, so did his powers.

If I were to stop writing my book I would delete it. But here it is! So don't freak out. I have been super busy with my theater practice. - Bella Yezet
