"I am going to God Grave to go to the Nether!" Zenix announces. He is already packing his backpack to head off. Zenix can't go to the Nether! No way can I fail again! "Okay, so I have my sword, my healing potion, some bread, plenty of torches..." Zenix mumbles to himself.
"No you aren't! You are staying here."
"WHY, GARROTH?!" he screams at me like a nine-year-old boy. "WE NEED TO SAVE HER!"
"Shut up. Think for once instead of being as stubborn as a mule, how about you think about what Zella would want you to do. She would want you to stay here- don't you dare interrupt me." He was obviously going to talk back, because he had his I'm-Zenix-and-I-am-going-to-be-annoying-and-talk-back face. I see his face turn bright red with anger and he starts rubbing his eyes. Weird...
"ARG! WHY?! SHE WOULD WANT ME TO HELP HER, NOT LEAVE HER TO DIE!" Zenix continues to scream. I roll my eyes, trying to control my temper, but it's not working. Okay, man. Just let it go... "SHUT YOUR FACE, GARROTH! I DON'T CARE!"
"OH, OKAY. DID YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH HER WHEN WE WERE CHASING HER?! HMM? NO, YOU DIDN'T! WHY DO YOU THINK WE WERE IN YOUR ROOM?! TO BE LIKE BRENDAN THE LONELY CREEPER?! NO! WE WERE IN THERE BECAUSE WE KNEW WHAT WAS GIVING YOU THE DREAMS! INSTEAD OF BEING A RUDE 2-YEAR-OLD GIRL, I EXPECT YOU TO SHUT UP AND LISTEN!!!" I scream at him.
"You knew about..." Zenix says softly. His face is now red from anger and embarrassment. "FINE! I WON'T GO! BUT I AM BLAMING HER DEATH ON YOU!" Zenix shouts in my face and storms off.

"Zenix! Zenix, where are you?!" I call out to him. After our big fight a few hours ago, I haven't seen the dang boy since! Ugh. He is so sensitive! I mean, I know his girlfriend was kidnapped by her ex and some random twelve-year-old fangirl... but he needs to understand I don't want to leave Zella in the nether with those monsters, but I need to think of a plan to get her out, without Zenix getting involved. I promised her that much. I look around, trying to decide where to start to look for him, when I see Azura as usual, yelling at her men to do something useful instead of giving her and Lord Burt gray hairs. I head toward her, and hear the last of her ranting, it always amuses me. The looks on the faces of the new recruits when they are ordered around by a women. It was the same at the... the academy. Heh, Fenier always got a good laugh out of that. But it mainly ticked everyone else off except for other girls and me. Well, we all were annoyed by her, the bossy woman. Anyway, I walk over to her, getting respectful nods from the senior guards, who know who I am. Standing in front of her, giving her a respectful bow of the head, and ask, "Hey Azura, do you know where my apprentice is?" I try to keep panic out of my voice, but she is really scary when she basically reads my mind, she can feel me panicking. But this time, I don't think she understands how important this is and answers casually,
"Oh, Zenix? He ah, he left Bright Port three hours ago. I thought you went with him." Dumb Zenix! And at her obliviousness I facepalm. I try to contain my posture in front of the guards. I dip my head, wanting to slap her senses back into her, but she's a female guard that would probably almost beat me to shame if I did. So I dip my head and walk away. Mother of Irene, I'm surrounded by IDIOTS.

It's been HOURS since Zenix stormed off, and I arrived at Phoenix Drop ten minutes ago. He isn't at the house, not patrolling. Not- wait. Did he go home-home? Like, his old village home? Oh, for Irene's sake... I didn't ride a horse here, I was at a dead sprint, getting here on foot normally takes a day, it took me half an hour. So I just wanna go home and SLEEP. But NO, ZENIX HAS TO GO ALL THE WAY TO GOD GRAVE! THAT'S GONNA TAKE ME AT LEAST ALL NIGHT. Maybe longer.... when I get my hands on him... I pack my things and prepare to go ALL THE WAY TO GOD GRAVE! Ugh, Zenix! I tell Dale that he is in charge and no root beer until I return. I start to walk through the forest. I hope Zenix hasn't gotten himself killed...

"Zenix!" I call out. I have been screaming his name for hours and there has been no sight of him. I can see God Grave's bright torches and I am starting to believe that Zenix is already in the Nether... wait! Is that him? I silently sigh in relief. Thank Irene he's not dead. Now I'm gonna kill him. But first, I'm going to stalk him and see where he thinks he's going. I climb the nearest building and start going to the next roof. Staying low, not wanting to blow my cover. Hopefully these old roofs will hold my weight. Some look as if they couldn't even hold a feather. I leap to the next roof like a boss, and l see Zenix moving quietly toward this house that actually looks DECENTLY built. Why is he going there? I follow, climbing down the gutter, which somehow didn't break. And take off after him, in the shadows. He enters the house silently, and I follow, not letting the door close before I slip inside. Inside. Wow, even inside the houses look badly built. What lord would let their village get this way? Shaking off the thought, I see Zenix step into a room, and right next to the open doorway. I wait until I hear a trapdoor open and close before I peer in, and see a bedroom. Or, really not much bigger than a closet. But in the corner, there's a trapdoor. I wait until I hear footsteps leading away from me and open the trapdoor as quietly as possible, and slip down the ladder, and step into a room... a... room... full of... skulls. WHAT... IRENE WHY? WHO'S ROOM IS THIS? And why... why do I hear the sound... the sound of a nether portal?! I avoid all of the soul sand and I turn the corner... Zenix is nearing the Nether Portal!
"ZENIX!!!" I scream at him. He turns around sharply, but his foot slips on the soul sand.
"GARRO-" but he is cut off as he fall through the portal. Gah! Ugh, looks like I have no choice but to follow him...  I take a deep breath and jump through the portal.
