Sakto pang tumunog ang "Close to you" ng the carpenters. Saktong sakto ba sa mood?
Hinawakan ni Enrique ang kamay ko as in like our hands were seriously intertwined like it was inseparable nautal kong tinanong "Www-w-why are you holding my hand?"
"Let's enjoy this temporary forever of ours" His smile was at the end to end of his ear. He was so happy and I wanted to be happy as well. So I said "Let's enjoy the journey then" I smiled.
It was a long drive and the destination was unknown. That time ako at si Quen didn't care about anything else wether it is right or wrong wether we had a fiance or not. All we cared about is that we are in front of each other enjoying this very moment holding hands and singing to our favorite songs like this one... I love you baby by Gloria Gaynor.
"So what will we our routine be if we're still together?" Quen asks
And I reply "Let's see"
Ang long drive pala na yun ay ang cake shop na tinayo ni Enrique sa Pampanga. He called it "Quen Sweets" bumaba si Quen ng kotse at pinagbuksan ako. Inakbayan niya ako at hinolding hands ko naman ang kamay na naakbay sa kanya. Ang labas ng shop ay puno ng pink, blue, violet at teal na kulay... Masyado namang girly!
"Quenito pang-bading naman yung cake shop mo eh!" Tukso ko sa kanya
"Huh! Ang cute kaya"
Pagpasok namin nagreact agad ang mga emplayado niya...
"Sss-s-sir sino po yung kasama niyo?" At parang gustong magsumbong sa fiancé ni Quen.
"She's the girl who first taught me how to bake... She's the reason behind all of this" Natahimik ang emplayado ni Quen.
Pumasok kami ng kitchen at pinakita niya yung mga tools niya for baking. Pinakita niya yung embroidered Chef Enrique sa apron. Pinakita niya yung cupcake liners, mga celebrities na nagorder sa shop niya and even successful weddings.
"My my my! You lived my dream huh? The guy who I taught baking became a pastry chef... How ironic" I laughed
"Without you non of these would have happen" he says
After niya akong itour sa loob ng cake shop niya umupo kami sa gilid ng shop sa window side. Nakatitig ang mga emplayado niya saakin at kita ni Enrique na nabobother ako...
He then ranted "She's so pretty right?" Dinugtong niya "Mamaya na kayo magpapicture sa kanya" Natawa naman ako sa kanya.
We shared a look and was smiling to the infinity!!! "You remember how we started?" He asks
And I said "I'll be so glad to remember them all over again"
Nagdugtungan kami ng mga events sa buhay namin... Oh God how I missed this.
