A/N: God I am so sorry if this sucks. I don't even know blah. Meh, not very satsified with what I accomplished but here you go ;; Now I need an opinion on the future child because the story could go a number of ways. What kind of child would you like to see? Girl, boy, personality traits and all that. Please comment and tell because I would love to incorporate that somehow! Hm chapter ten. Can't believe I made it this far. The climax hasn't even begun though Dx the thought of more work is depressing but heck, oh well! Enjoy :)

The seasons passed quickly and I grew wary of maids constantly telling me what to do. My feet were swollen by now and I had to carry a huge weight that prevented me from walking freely. It had been awhile since I met with any of the concubines. It truly didn't matter since their business was theirs.
I wove the flowers that Chun Hai had brought for me together. The criss-cross pattern of yellow and red flowers were quite pretty. I made it into a delicate little wreath which I placed upon Chun Hai's hair.
"My lady, you look much prettier with these flowers." She said humbly as her hands reached up toward her head to remove it.
"Keep it; it is my gift to you for being such a kind servant. If there is ever anything you need, do not be afraid to ask." I said.
My motherly hormones and instincts had kicked in. I had often learned to veil my emotions but now I was open about my emotions and such. I made several flower wreaths until my hands had gotten tired.
"I want to visit Lady Fang Hua." I said picking my body up and adjusting my hip. My stomach protruded out. I picked up a flower wreath and decided to present it as a gift to her. Chun Hai quickly helped me up as she called other servants to follow after me.
I loosened my garment so that it didn't suffocate my breathing. The guards bowed and I made my way to Fang Hua's chambers. Her living space was even grander than mine. Everything was very refined and delicate with pale shades of pinks and greens. I heard her familiar voice chatting with someone. I had my suspicions but noticed that it was only her and her eunuch.
"Ai Xue!" She called as she quickly guided me to one of the seats. She beckoned her maids to bring a footstool for me to rest my feet.
"You should be more careful now that you're pregnant with Ming Zheng's child!" She said as she kept her arm on me until I was finally seated down properly.
"I am fine; please stop making such a fuss. I'm not like Huan Yue who needs constant attention." I sighed and sipped the tea that she poured for me.
"I know you are not. You're much more pleasant than she can be. I am grateful that you've finally visited. Welcome to my humble abode." She said with a sweet smile.
"Thank you but I've come here just to speak about ... the matters you said you wanted to share." I said while sipping the cup of tea.
Her face flushed a bright red and she motioned the servants to close the doors and leave the room and it was just the two of us. She quietly fumbled with the fabric on her skirt until she spoke.
"I must confess, I was diagnosed as barren when I first arrived to the palace. I had an irregular cycle and the empress didn't want to risk me as the first wife of Ming Zheng. She knew I did not love him but I was the apple of his eye, the affection he wanted. I had hoped he could move on because I love the general. He's always been besides me and rescued me when I nearly drowned one night. I have done things that would cost me my head. But I am with child as well." She said quietly.
It took me awhile to process what she said and then it all hit me.
"You are with child?" I whispered alarmed.
