This is the preview to The Light, the sequel of the Rebel. Now, I'm not sure when I will have it posted, it may take awhile. I am taking a break from writing for a bit, but not long, don't worry!

December 15th
Ella's eyes are changing.
Now, I am not talking about her contacts again. Her eyes are seriously changing color. Her hazel eyes are slowly dissolving into... orange! The hue of a fresh, wild fire! They even seem to glow at night when we are in the library and when she laughs, they flicker like a candle flame. Now, I do not know whether I'm going insane or this is some type of teenage hormonal imbalance, or both. It all started last week when she was in battle in her home town. Caught by ambush in the middle of the night, and she instantly reacted yet so calmly. And the way she fought- alone, by the by- was just... wow.
Such tremendous faith, such miraculous actions, I just... can't believe this is all happening!
Well, of course I believe, but you get my gist. I think God is really taking everything to the next level, even though it was never thought to be possible. Not just Ella, but the Rebellion, the world, and... us, as well .
Now she is just so vibrant and bolder then ever before. I remember I once wrote she shines more than the stars- well now that's an unfair understatement. She's so joyful and energetic, she even sings and dances in the halls of the Stronghold. She is evolving back into that little girl her mother told me about, before little Ella's innocence was taken. Not only that, but her faith is stonger and she seems to be so connected with God that she's one step away from the world, and one step closer to His throne. My goodness, how she amazes me.
Doc says the crazy stuff is about to start. How could it get even more crazy? The whole world in the palm of one man's hand. All of the Christians of the world being hunted and killed. And a girl standing up to her own father trying to save them all? How could it get crazier than that?
Who am I kidding? I saw what happened back in New England. I saw what happened when we were surrounded and she stood up. I saw what happen when Owen was shot. I saw what happened when Ella's hair caught fire. I saw what happened when all hope was lost.
Yes, the crazy stuff is about to start.
But I think I am going to enjoy it.
What ever happens, I know I can make it, with God by my side. Through all the storms and pain and suffering, I know that my God will help me through it. They say to search for the rainbow in the storm, but I believe I have already found mine- Ella.
Yesterday she told me something amazing in the library, and I shall never forget it. She looked up at me when we were discussing the plan, smiled, and said, "May I always be put through pain and trails for the Lord Jesus Christ, if I am worthy of such an honor."
Wow! She has such faith and trust in Jesus, that she actually would love to be persecuted for it! She explained to me that she was so amazed that God has chosen her to represent Him, and when she is beaten, laughed at, or just simply teased, it means she is doing a good job. It was then when I noticed her odd aura for the first time. And every time she speaks on the RI or the more she reads her Bible, her glow increases. It's memorizing.
Dear God, am I going crazy, or is this really happening? What are your plans for me? For The Rebellion? For Ella? For us? Give me wisdom and prepare me for what is to come. Thank you, Father. I love You. Amen
