She didn't belong out there but that was the obvious,
The streets were her hunting-ground and the cars-her preys,
Freshly 21-young and fairly beautiful,
Wearing nothing but the motivation to feed her fatherless children,
Roaming the soulless nights trying to find where she belonged,
Made a twenty here and there,
But on special nights when a nice car would stop,
Maybe a hundred made while a tiny piece of her dignity would fade.

Then I met her.
I took her in.
Gave her children a father,
And gave her a ring,
Now she knows where she belongs,
And I accepted her for her wrongs,
Now we are happily making our wedding plans.
