I'm No Monster

"Order, I need Order in the court!" the judge shouted,

              ***

They say I'm a sad narcissistic monster,

But I only wanted love,

The kind that never disappears,

So I kept her locked away from humanity,

I fell for her.

I fell for her so deeply,

But she lied to me so I killed her...

I'm no monster,

I just wanted love,

The kind that would never disappear,

So I found a new toy to keep me comfort,

She wasn't like the other,

She was perfect, too perfect,

I couldn't trust someone this perfect,

So I squeezed until I felt no more movement,

I know that the jury will find me guilty,

But don't you dare sit there and think that I'm filthy!

I'm not sorry nor am I sad,

They deserved it and I deserve to never see light again,

So please sentence me for my crimes.

But remember I only wanted love,

The kind that would never disappear.

"Get this monster from in front of us! You will be sentenced to death by execution," the jury cried.
