Write me a song of love and matrimony,
And everything that makes the soul happy.
A song that I can listen and meditate upon
Its delightful melodies,
Paint me a picture filled with rainbows,
Depicting sunny days and exuberant sceneries,
A painting captured by its colonial essence but,
Modern feelings, so that when I examine the
Finest of details, it will recite to me a poem,
A ballad or even an ensemble,
Where the volumes are clear and sweet...
Now, write me another song,
This time of sadness, chaos and catastrophe,
A song where I may ponder upon the lyrics of
Society and the horrors of a world so corrupt; sure of doom,
I ask you to feel some sort of sympathy,
Sympathy not for me, but for the world and everyone in it,
Paint me a picture of blood and havoc, opening the windows to the real world;
Where there's nothing but blank canvases, empty pages and shallow minds.
Recite to me a poem with stanzas upon stanzas of how painful reality is, and how
The alternatives will better suite me.
Stanzas that will let me forget that smile, paintings that will let me forget that touch and a song that will erase everything.
Finally, inhale, exhale and write, paint, recite.
