"So when you guy's get married can I bring my kids? I know they're a handful but they do love Uncle Sebby." Anthony guffawed as Sebastian wrinkled his nose at his friend. The boys had finished press for the day and were sitting in Chris's hotel room eating Chinese take out from around the corner.
"Whatever man." Replied Sebastian, rolling his eyes for the millionth time that day and picking at his noodles.
"Hey you know I speak the truth, right Cap?" He turned to face a red faced Chris Evans as he spluttered his way through an extra hot piece of chicken.
"Ahem! Ugh....damn sauce. Ahem. I gotta agree with Mack Attack, Seb. You two seemed pretty sweet on each other."
Sebastian peered through the locks of hair that had fallen over his face to the two men sitting before him. He narrowed his eyes at them and spoke,
"You guys really think it was that bad?"
Both boys looked at each other and simply nodded furiously.
Sebastian sighed and placed his chop sticks on the table. He thought back through the days events and wondered if his friends were right. His whole life he had dated actresses, because who else? They were there and in his circle of friends who else was he supposed to meet? His relationships had all been relatively long term. He was never a date kind of guy, he committed to his partner once he was sure he cared enough. With his last partner, Madison, he had been sure she was the love of his life. They had met while filming an independent film in Toronto two years ago. She asked him out on their first date, and her assertiveness became something he loved. Until it became disorderly. And assertiveness turned into bossiness. And sex turned into a chore and eventually coming home to her wine soaked breath was no longer a turn on, but a display of how little she cared for him. Finally two years later when he returned from a month of filming in Atlanta, he found her taking a shower, not alone. That was six months ago. And he was sure that Madison had been the best chance he had at finding love.
But that changed a few hours ago.
Isabel was so different. So very different. She was small for starters. She was chest height to him and her body was slight and petite, reminiscent of a dancer. Her hair was darker as were her features. She smelled of vanilla and coconut, a welcome change from Madison's rose water and chamomile tea. He never liked florals. Isabel was easy to talk to. She shared his interests and spoke with passion and gusto. She was witty and charming and full of knowledge. He knew there were faults to be had as everyone does, but he didn't seem to care. In the past few hours Sebastian had become a firm believer in the scientific research that states that attraction is chemical. Because what he was feeling for Isabel could only be described as groundbreaking for him.
"Earth to Sebastian Stan! Quit picturing her naked you dork." Anthony's voice seemed to come from underwater, and it took Sebastian a few seconds to realise he hadn't spoken in minutes. He shook his head like a newly drenched puppy and smiled sheepishly.
"I hate you both." he quipped.
