Gabe's POV:

Several minutes have past and Naomi still clings on to me. Like she was really afraid I'd leave her.

I would never.

"Naomi, it's dark out. We should go home." I rubbed her back.

Nothing.

"Naomi?" I picked her head off my shoulder and her eyes were closed.

She must've fallen asleep while she was crying.

I carefully guide her head down to the playhouse floor and brush the hair sticking on her cheeks of her face.

I can't get her home alone.

I can't even call mom about this.

She'll freak.

What do I do?

I can't just wake her up.

She'd kill me.

"Who the hell do I call?" I pulled on my hair and I leaned my back against the playhouse.

Then suddenly, one person came to mind.

No, I can't.

That's embarrassing.

"But do I really have a choice?" I asked myself.

"I can't call Sean or Kenneth. Then Naomi would really kill me. Maybe even them." I pull my phone from my front pocket and began tapping on the screen.

Should I?

"Fine, I'll do it." I gave up and dialled the number.

I lift my phone to my ear and listen as it rings.

"Hello?"

"Hey, dad?"

"Can you do me a huge favor?" I asked as I watch Naomi sleep.

"Can you help me and Naomi get home?" I bit my lip from embarrassment.

"Wait! So it is true! Naomi ran out the class! Because of Sean and Ken, right? They really fought?" She began to babble.

"Yes, yes they did." I admitted.

"Oh my god! I miss one day of class and all these things happen! I mean what's nex--"

"Dad!" I whispered yelled. "Sorry to interrupt you but I kinda need help like right now. Naomi is dead asleep here in a playhouse."

"Oh right! Sorry! Wait, did you say playho--"
