Grayson's POV:

The plan was set.

We're gonna do it.

We're going to help her.

We're gonna save her and save ourselves as well in the process.

Kenneth's POV:

"Has there been an update?" Serris asks Marie while I sit uncomfortably on this cold metal chair.

I rub my sweaty palms on my thighs to try to calm myself from the undesired emotions I have right now.

Gabe and Sean are on a hospital bed while Naomi is out there missing for almost 12 hours now.

The unsteady feeling I had inside of me made me feel so weak and fragile. It was as if a single blow would make me disintegrate into a million pieces.

A variety of negative possibilities play in my head as tears begun to slide down my cheeks once again. I just wanted them to be okay. I need her to be okay.

"Ken, shh no more crying." Serris comes by my side and rubs my back in circles.

I ignore her and just continue to look down at the hospital floor watching my tears start to create a tiny puddle. It was hard to not cry.

How could I possibly stop crying when it was my fault she was kidnapped in the first place?

I can't even imagine how much pain she must be going through, it crushed my heart everytime I thought of the possiblities.

"Ken, please. You need some rest. You haven't eaten or slept yet." She gently grabs my chin to make me face her but she was too blurry from my tears.

"Ken, please say something. You're scaring me. You haven't talked since Gabe entered the ambulance." She places her hands on top of mine and realizes that I was trembling.

"Ken." Her eyes slightly widen from worry. "Ken, you're shaking."

Everything starts to spin as my heart beat increases by the second. It was getting really hard to breath. I choose to ignore do the fact that Naomi is definitely feeling worse than I am.

I need her to be safe.

Serris' lips move but I hear nothing as my ears fill with air. It was then that she starts cupping my cheeks but I didn't even feel anything.

I was numb.

I could see her start to yell for help and a passing by nurse turns to my attention. She bends down to my level and examines my eyes. She quickly jogs off somewhere unknown to me and returns with a bottle of water.

She hands it to Serris and begins to try and make me drink it. Except I was too out of myself to even swallow so the water simply just falls out of my mouth.

"Kenneth! Please!" I faintly hear her say.

"Kenneth!"

She said Kenneth.

"Naomi?" I whispered as I looked up to who I thought was Serris.

"Naomi?!" I grab her cheeks and begin to sob heavily when my hands felt her skin.

"Ken, no--" She says something else but became in audible when I felt my heart pounding even faster.

"He's having an anxiety attack we have to calm him down." I hear the nurse say.
