i need your help

Hey guys! 5th day meaning 5th chapter! In this chapter I decided i would do Ken's POV on the situation from chapter 4. I hope you guys enjoy.

Ken's POV:

@kensanjose: so what you doing now?

"Kenneth. For the twelfth time. Put that phone down." My teacher scolds me once again as she continues to glare at me.

I do as she says and put it in my pocket. She then continues on with her lesson about logarithmic properties.

My day consisted of getting scolded by my teacher for texting and just sitting on my chair watching her talk. Even though I've taken school for 11 years I still haven't gotten used to it.

At the end of the day, my mom bid farewell to my teacher and she finally left my house.

Did i forget to mention that I was home schooled?

It gets very lonely and boring most of the time due to the fact that your only human interaction is your teacher. My parents thought it would be better off if I was home schooled for the "most accurate learning experience."

@Naomi_DG: sorry about that. My teacher just scolded me for using my phone in class.

I let out a low laugh as I finish reading her message.

@Naomi_DG: I'm just waiting for the bell to ring so I can go home btw.
(Btw means by the way for those who don't know OK bye)

I wish I was too.

@kensanjose: well I'm just chilling in my kitchen wondering what to eat. 😂😂

I wasn't lying when I said that. I couldn't find anything worthy to eat.

"Hungry?" My mom laughs as she sees me opening our boring snack pantry for the 2nd time.

"Yes." I reply throwing my head back and rubbing my stomach area.

"C'mon. Let's go to 7 eleven and buy more snacks." She says as she grabs her key from the hook.

"You're my savior!" I dramatically say as I race to her side.

"I know I am."

After we finally made it to 7 eleven. I realized that I haven't gotten a notification yet.

Maybe I just didn't hear it.

I then checked my phone for a message but there was nothing.

She probably got scolded again or something.

I shook it off and I started picking out my favorite snacks. I put them on a small cart that my mom brought on our way in.

My mom was about to say something when she was interrupted by the basic iPhone ringtone. I waited for her to answer as I look at more snacks.

"Anak, that's not my phone." She tells me. (Anak means daughter or son in Tagalog okay)

Me?

I then pulled my phone from my back pocket and saw it was Naomi calling. I was confused on why she was calling but I was still very excited to answer.

"Hi Naom--"

"Kenneth where are you?! I need your help right now!" She interrupts me with obvious fear in her tone.

"I'm at 7 eleven, why?" I ask her confused as I start to look at my mom. She looks at me intently as I do so.

"Ken I need you to get to the back of my school right now! Please! Gabe is about to fight please!" She begged me as I hear an argument going off in the back ground.

My eyes grew wide especially when I heard her scream and a loud thud went through the phone.

"Naomi?! Naomi are you okay?!" I ask quickly ask I hear yelling from the other side.

"Mom we got to go now! My friends are in trouble!" I told her panicking as I start to run out the store and towards the car, leaving our cart behind.

She follows quickly and unlocks the car. We both hop in and we quickly leave 7 eleven.

"Where?" She asks starting to panic as well as she starts to drive on the main road.

"Behind the high school!" I say pointing to the creme high school ahead of us.

As we were getting closer I started to see a girl on the ground and 2 guys fighting.

"There!" I tell with my adrenaline rushing through my veins.

She quickly stops the car and I immediately exit the car.

"Be careful!" She warns me.

"Gabe! Gabe! Stop!" I yell as I ran towards the furious Gabe.

The next thing I know, I was trying to pull Gabe off of a unfamiliar guy. As I got Gabe off of him I noticed the guy get up as well.

"Gabe!" Naomi yelled with complete fear in her voice.

I then looked up to see him gonna throw a punch at Gabe and I wasn't gonna allow that.

I quickly dropped Gabe on the ground and grabbed his fist. I then unbelievably punch him in the face. I have never punched anyone in my life before and I was never the type to fight. I was shocked at myself as he got up and ran away.

"Gabe are you okay?!" I ask the bruising Gabe.

He just nods and points at Naomi as a message to focus on her.

"Naomi, are you okay?" I ask her calmly as I kneel down next to her.

She looked so pale and her eyes were still full of fear. Her mouth was slightly open and she just kept staring at me. I can hear her breathing heavily as she continues to do so. I started to panic as her eyes start to roll back.

Gabe and I start saying her name to keep her awake but she instantly lost strength and collapsed on her side. I caught her head with my arm right before she hit the ground and I put it on my lap.

"Naomi! Wake up!" Gabe says tearily as she shakes her arm.

"We got to get her to the hospital." I say trying to calm him down.

"Gabe call your mom, tell her what happened and tell her we're heading to the hospital right now." I instruct him as I dial mom to pull up closer to us.

He does as I told him to and I begin to carry Naomi bridal style to my now approaching car. Gabe opens the door for us and I lay her down with Gabe getting in on the other side. I quickly shut the door and we hurriedly race to the nearest hospital.

Naomi you better be okay.
