A week later, the tables have turned and now it's me avoiding Harry. I'm honestly scared of him. I am one of the few who believe he didn't do it, but there's a slight chance he did, and I don't know what the Chamber of Secrets is, so I don't know how to judge whether or not Harry did it.
I've made friends with the girls in my dormitory. Their names are Allie, Lila, and Alicia. They're not mean Slytherins, they're just not that kind. Lila and I have the exact same schedule, so we walk to all of our classes together and we're close. The only bad part is that she's super prejudged against anybody not pure blood, and she likes to use the m word a lot.
My best friend though, is either the twins or Draco. The twins like to make me laugh, and they try to keep Ginny away from me. If she starts being mean to me in the hallway, they'll stick up for me. I wonder what she's done to make her own brothers dislike her.
"Hey Bell," Fred says, grabbing my arm one evening after dinner. "We're going to a party," George finishes, grabbing my other arm. They drag me up to the seventh floor, and they pace in front of a wall, where to my surprise, a door appears. They pull me inside where a few Gryffindors are sitting in a circle.
"What a party." I exclaim, deadpan. George laughs. "Shut up. It's a truth or dare party genius," He says, holding up a few bottles of what I assume is truth potion.
A few minutes later, we begin. "Angelina, truth or dare?" Fred asks. "Truth," She replies, taking a drink of the potion. "Who's the best looking boy in the room?" He asks. "Lee." She blurts out. Lee, the twins' friend, blushes.
"First year, truth or dare?" She asks. Great, I've already been singled out as a child. "Dare," I reply with as much Black confidence as I can muster. "Go easy Ang. She's never been to one of these before," Fred says. I scoff. "I'm not afraid of a dare," I tell them confidently. Everyone in the room lets out a quiet "ooooh."
"Annabella, I dare you to drink a cup of truth potion," She says. I shrug. It'll only last an hour or so. So I drink it. "Who's the cutest boy in the room?" She asks. "George." His name spits out of my mouth automatically. I slap my hands over my mouth. "Does our ickle firstie have a crush?" Fred asks in a sing song voice. "Yes." I say against my hands, hopefully inaudible. Fred was right beside my face, so I know he heard, but he sneakily winks and sits back up.
"Part of the dare is uncovering your mouth," Angelina says. Reluctantly, I place my hands in my lap. "Who was your first kiss?" She asks. "I haven't had one," My mouth says once again, automatically. All the fourth years burst into laughter except for Fred and George.
"You really are a child!" Angelina laughs. "What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?" Fred asks. I glare at him before talking.
"When I went to get my money from Gringotts before term started, I'd been sick. So when the cart ride started, I puked all over the cart, my dad, and the goblin," I say. Everyone bursts into laughter again.
"George, truth or dare?" I ask. "Dare," He replies.
"I dare you to kiss every girl in this room you'd date," I say with a shrug. He turns and kisses me, on the cheek. I'm glad he didn't kiss me on the lips. I don't want a ton of people to watch my first kiss.
All the older kids stare. George Weasley just admitted I'm the only girl in here he'd date. A first year. He's fourteen, I'm eleven. He would date me. I like him, and he might like me, except he's way older than me, and could probably get a lot of prettier girls.
The game ends soon, a bit before my potion has worn off. George decides to walk me back to my dorm. "Do you really have a crush on me?" He asks. "Yes." The answer pops from between my lips. "Good. We're on the same page," He says, suddenly coming closer. He backs me against a wall, and leans down slowly. His lips touch mine, softly at first, but then firmer. It's a long and sweet kiss, and I notice that George's lips taste faintly of strawberries. He pulls away and gently rests his forehead against mine. "How's that for a first kiss?" He asks. "Splendid."

The next morning, I'm absolutely giddy. I decide to write a letter to mum first thing.
Dear Mum,
You'll never believe what happened! I got kissed by George Weasley! I can't believe it! I like him, and he apparently likes me too! Just thought I'd tell you. Love you!
-Bella
I walk up to the owlry to send my letter with Storm after I get ready. I'm telling Mum because she is like my best friend. I tell her everything. She's a major part of my life.
It's Saturday, so I go down to breakfast around ten. The Gryffindors from last night motion me to sit with them, since everyone has mostly cleared out. I blush upon seeing George. I sit down beside George, who takes my hand gently. "Good morning," I say. "Morning," They all reply.
After breakfast, Fred, George, and I go sit by the Black Lake. "So you kissed," Fred says. George and I both stay silent. "I can see it in the way you act," He finishes. "So are you two a couple?" He asks. "Yup," George replies instantly. "Except it's a secret," George and I say at the same time. I can't believe he said we're a couple!
