7. The Wait

"Hye rin I'm upset with you. I didn't expect this from you. You just stole my words! I've been dying to say this to you. I like you too!" Those words were always on my mind. I couldn't refrain myself from thinking about that precious moment. After that moment, I never let his hand leave mine.

"It all seems like a dream to me!" Tightening the grip of his hand, I spoke. Minho leaned down and we were now at the same level. His face was just a few centimeters away from mine. He looked at me briefly while his eyes wandering at my lips. Looking at my lips, he licked his lips a little. "Then I have a good idea. What about a kiss to make you realise that this is not a dream?" Winking at me, flashing his smile which was just perfect for my heart to be torn, he hugged me.

We were at the Han River. It was my dream to come with minho someday. Sitting at the bench, he slowly reached my face. He cupped my face with his thumb making circles on my cheek. "Actually I have prepared something for you!" I was really happy knowing the fact that he actually planned something for me to express his feelings. "What is it?" Raising my eyebrows, I looked straight into his eyes. He stood up and removed a small kids ring from his pocket. Placing the ring in front of me, he started,

Tears streaming down my cheeks, I held him so tight that we could actually feel each others warmth. His chin resting on my head, he laid his hand on my back. "Hey, stop crying! I don't want to see you like this! Not today, and never." I smiled against his chest at this statement. "Besides, I've bought this ring for you! You love these kid rings right!" I suddenly remembered I'd once told him that I really cherish these rings as my dad would give these to me. "Thank you for today!" I stated.

"You don't have to be thank you. And if you are really that thankful to me, let's play a game." Minho said with his hands up in air. "What kind of a game?" I stated. "Whoever looses three chances of stone paper scissors would become a slave for the whole day!" "Cool!" I was excited for this game. I could not wait to make mingu my slave.

With competition seen in our eyes and mind, we started the game. "STONE PAPER SCISSORS!" My paper being cut by mingu. 'No worries! There's another chance!' After the celebration of minho's victory, the second round started. "STONE PAPER SCISSORS!" I crushed mingu's scissors. Winking at him, I raised my fist in air as a sign of fighting! It was the last round! The round which decided if I would be his princess or he being my prince. Actually I didn't care whether he wins or me. I just had two wishes. The last round had begun. "STONE PAPER SCISSORS!" I decided to go with a paper. I closed my eyes while we were playing. Opening one of my eye in the hope that I would win.. I saw that mingu was holding a scissors and givin a viscious smile at me. He won. He was dancing all around. Being happy, he started to tease me by sticking his tongue out, saying "mehronggg!" It bought a smile at my face seeing him that happy. "Now you're all mine!" He held my shoulders. "Yes! I am your slave. What would you like me to do master?" I stated while bowing a little. Laughing, he said "Meet me at the backside park after an hour. Now I have to leave for my practice." I agreed. Waving him till I could only see him disappear, I then went to meet onew.

Onew and I had decided to meet today. It had been a long time I had met him. He would always be busy with his presentations and submissions. Seeing the fluffball eating peacefully, I smiled at myself and went near him. Standing behind him, I closed his eyes with my hand. "Yaa, when are you going to grow up? There's no one who does this to me except u Rin." I sat across him. "That's what I like about it. You will remember me forever for this." At this, he turned pale. "I will remember you forever whether you do this or not." He then gave me his precious eyesmile.

Walking with a friend in darkness is better than walking alone in light. Best friends are like torchs. They always would give you light. Onew was a friend to me in that way. Onew was a shoulder I could lean on. He was the one I could count on. He was like my navigation pane. Life without navigation would have been a lonely island. I didn't want to lose him. Being him the reason, I decided to let him know about minho, because I was tired. Tired to always lie to him. Tired of keeping things in myself. Tired to see him in pain of us getting apart. Tired of always leaving him when he needed me. When me and minho became friends, I sensed that onew thought we are not the same anymore. Hence, I wanted him to know. "Onew, I wanted to speak about minho." His expression went serious. He looked at me with intense eyes. "Yes. Say" I was worried. "Me and minho like each other. I wanted you to know that I have been liking minho from more than two years." The spoon from his hand fell down. Food choked in his mouth, he looked away, without giving me any expressions. "Onew, please say something." Onew looked at my eyes as if he was looking through my soul. "This is not possible! The wait was mine. I've been waiting the ever since I met you. You were whom I could give my all. You are something I cherish and I wanted you to cherish me the same way. Waiting had become a part of my life. I wanted to tell you I like you, but everyday I would lie myself that she knows. Everyday the courage would fly away seeing you smile. Rin, I have been and will always be liking you."
