12. Date me.

"M.m.minho?" I was blankly staring at him. There was no way he was here. I thought I was hallucinating. I took my hand and slowly reached his cheek. I touched it and god! He was seriously there! The puppy eyed person actually was there. "I'm really here. You are not imagining things." He kissed my hand. I wanted to know the reason, so I asked him what made him end here and his reply to this was "I was really feeling bad that I couldn't walk you home. So this is the reason I took a house here. Now we could always be together."

We were speaking to each other when minho's mother came out of a room. She looked so high standard, just like the rich women used to look in dramas. Minho introduced me to her mom. "Mom, this is rin, the girl I was talking about." Her mom smiled at me. The same signature smile like minho. That was when I understood that he got his smile from his mom. "Annyeong haseyo, rin imnida." I introduced myself while bowing down 90 degrees. She patted me and said "ne ne I know. Such a well mannered girl. I've heard about you alot from minho. Are you sure you both are just friends?" Her mom suddenly asked.

Minho turned to me and gave me an awkward smile. "No ma'am. We are nothing more than friends." I reassured her. She just gave me a smile and went inside her room. "Mingu, I'll get going. You should rest. You just moved in." I started walking when I was stopped by strong hands holding my wrist as tight as it could me. It turned red. This was a habit of minho. Whenever he was nervous about something, he would press any object that would come into his hand.

"What are you nervous about?" I asked him. He looked straight into my eyes and said "about what my mom asked earlier, I'm really sorry for it. I know how much you lov- I mean like me but you know that I want the perfect time right?" I smiled at him. His sincerity could actually be seen. "I know. My feelings are not gonna change." His face lit up. "I'm so lucky to have you. And I'm sure I won't take too long to make you mine." He said. I then waved him and went to my house.

I was actually a little sad that I had to wait this long for him to get his 'right time'. The thing most important to me right now was making him mine. I brushed the thought off when I went down to watch t.v. I saw my mom there and just sat beside her. "So how are the new neighbours?" Mom asked. "When did you know that minho moved in?" I lamely asked her. "He called me." I got up and went to my room. I was not interested in anything. I thought of going to sleep. I didn't eat my dinner and went to sleep.

The next morning, my stomach started growling. I was craving for food. I went downstairs after brushing my teeth and saying my morning prayers. When I went down, I saw minho and my unnie laughing and speaking to each other. I just looked away and went straight to the kitchen. I grabbed a cereal box and milk and started eating at the dining table. The dining table was near the hall. Minho saw me and rushed towards me.

"Did you see the kitchen? Did you see what I bought for you?" I was in no mood to reply. " I've bought the candies which you love. Aren't you going to have them?" He placed it in front of me and said, " see! Wait.. I'll give you one." He unwrapped the candy and was trying to put into my mouth but I was in no mood. My head was fixed at the last night conversation. I didn't reply. I turned my face the other way. He put the candy down and with a sad face he asked, "Are you still mad about last night?" I gave him a serious look. "Yes. Because I can't do this anymore. I can't wait anymore. I want to claim you mine. But all you care about is just your damn perfect time! Just leave me alone!" I kept the bowl on the table making a loud noise and rushed upstairs to my room. Minho followed me but fortunately I locked my door and he just kept on asking me to open the door. After some time, the knocking was gone. I didn't go to college.

It had been three to four days that I didn't meet minho nor any of my friends. My phone was flooded with msgs from key, onew, song min and minho, but I didn't even look at them and deleted it all. I'd got a msg from my class member that there was a party tonight. I let all go off my mind. I started scanning my closet for a good dress. There were around 20 dresses but I had nothing to wear! Finally, I found a gown. It was black and strapless. That was a gift given by song min. It had a little glitter which made it SHINee. I wore that dress and it looked soo beautiful! I looked so stunning that I felt like sending a click to minho. But then... anyways. I let my hair down. I straightened some of my hair strands which made my curly hair look long and wavey. I applied a little bit of makeup with some eyeshadow. It was all perfect. And the main part...HEELS. I wore heels for the first time. I fixed myself and went to the venue. The venue was actually a restaurant. I went to the restaurant. There were no one that I knew. I asked a managerial person and he said that the party was in the lawn. I went towards the lawn. It was such a beautiful lawn. My eyes just bulged out seeing it. There were no lights in the lawn. There were vanilla candles which made a path. I started walking at the path. I saw a white round table and there was a big vanilla scented candle with some flower petals. There were just two seats. I started getting confused. I went to the table and sat there waiting. The petals were placed in a form of 'sorry'. I started wandering who it could be. "Anyone there? Why am I here alone?" I shouted. Suddenly, the lights showed up and it said "DATE ME". When I finished reading it, I saw minho in a black tuxedo standing with a bouquet giving me his puppy face.
