Cameron woke up in the early hours of morning to Ashlynn not being in her room. Her parents had allowed him to sleep over last night so they could watch movies and hang out. He was upset with himself that he did not wake up when she got out of bed.
Cameron kicked his long legs over the edge of the bed, awake the moment his feet touched the cold hardwood floor. Standing up he walked down the stairs and into the main part of the house. He looked around but Ashlynn was nowhere to be found. He put on his shoes and went outside to call Bryce without waking up Ashlynn’s parents sleeping in the house. After three rings Bryce finally answered.
“Hello?”
“Hey Bryce it’s me, Cameron,” there was a laugh on the other end before Bryce asked why Cameron was calling.
“Have you heard from Ashlynn? She isn’t here.”
“Yeah she’s with me she called me about an hour ago saying she needed me to pick her up, you know she has some really gross cravings? She’s sitting here eating French fries and pickles, so gross,” Cameron laughed at the thought.
“When are you bringing her home?”
“When she's done eating, should be about ten minutes,” After telling them to be careful Cameron hung up and went back upstairs to wait for Ashlynn.
Ashlynn came bounding up the stairs giggling with Bryce about seven in the morning. Lying in her room Cameron had begun to hear Ashlynn’s parents stir and begin their morning routine. Ashlynn jumped in the bed with him, flying under the covers and into his arms.
“Well Cameron you sure are warm,” She had a beautiful smile on her face. She seemed to be glowing with happiness.
“I try, so what are your plans for the day? Anything crazy?” Ashlynn thought about it a second before smiling.
“I think I have a doctor’s appointment today, you're coming with right? I’m only two months along so they are just going to check a few things to make sure I’m staying healthy.” Cameron nodded, he would do anything if she asked as long as it made her happy.
Ashlynn got up to get ready and the guys went down to make some breakfast.
“Ashlynn, you can come back now,” The nice looking nurse said, looking around the waiting room for her. After spotting her she wrote something on her clipboard and led Ashlynn to a room for her checkup.
