Wonwoo sighed heavily, leaning his body against the wall as he watched Soonyoung. The shorter was working out madly, and it worry him a lot.
"Take a break, man."
"Just.... Just 5 minutes more-"
"-you have been saying that for the past 10 minutes!"
Soonyoung shook his head furiously, continuing running on the treadmill before it came to a stop all of a sudden. Wonwoo, who had pressed the stop button, passed to him a small towel with his lips forming a thin line.
"Wonwoo..."
"Enough said, I don't want you to faint again okay?"
Soonyoung nodded his head, wiping the sweat around his upper body. His shirt was drenched with sweat, showing the amount of efforts he ran on the machine in the past hour. His shoulders were all tensed, and he didn't looked happy.
He stepped down from the treadmill and went towards the mat placed on the cold floor, sitting down on it with Wonwoo following his tail.
Spreading his legs apart and reaching for his left foot, Wonwoo sat down in front of him and folded his legs.
"What's your purpose of doing all this? It's been a week since you haven't came back to the dorm, Soonyoung-ah!"
What Wonwoo had said was true. Soonyoung hasn't came back to the dorm ever since he was back in school. All he did was worked out for a few hours before school, and slept when he could. It wasn't healthy, and the male also didn't eat much anymore.
Even though it has been only a week, Wonwoo could already see the changes in his friend.
When he didn't get any reply, Wonwoo grabbed the male by the shoulders and shook him hard. "Jihoon has been crying for you and you don't care?"
Soonyoung stopped his actions, his eyes softening and he looked up to the male who frowned at him.
"Kwon Soonyoung, this is not you! Where is the Soonyoung who would always stay by Jihoon's side when he had the chance? Where is the Soonyoung who would jump here and there with boosts of energy? Where is the Soonyoung whose eyes are not.. Blank?"
"Kwon Soonyoung, where are you?!"
The black haired male tried to search for the old Soonyoung in the eyes, but there was something blocking the way. And he didn't know what it was.
Soonyoung pursed his lips together and roughly removed the other's hands away from him with his eyes glaring red, "He's gone, so stop asking for him again. I'm tired of pretending already."
"So stop trying to ruin the new me!"
Wonwoo's breath got stuck in his throat when he got pushed away, and he froze in shock when Soonyoung glared at him harder.
His mouth opened to say something, but the shorter just stood up and walked away to do his other workouts. Wonwoo ran his fingers through his hair, closing his eyes painfully with another heavy sigh.
"Soonyoung, I know you're not okay so I want to know what's happening in your mind. But here you are pushing me away, how do I help you? I really miss the old you, I do Soonyoung-ah."
"Everyone does.." Soonyoung said in his mind, as if he heard Wonwoo.
"I want the old me too, Wonwoo-ah."
