"Phantom?" I asked as I came upon the room full of dust and a mirror as the only thing clean. A full length mirror. I looked down at the letter. 'Open the mirror when you come upon the room little mouse' it read. I sighed and walked over to the mirror, my feet leaving prints behind me. I pushed gently on the mirror and it opened slightly. Pushing harder proved it opened completely. As I walked in I made sure to close it behind me and torches lit themselves as I walked along the path. "Angel of Music speak, I listen." I sang hoping to catch his attention from where ever he was. It was quiet though. My nerves wouldn't allow me to sing any louder. "Louder my Angel." Hus voice boomed around me. "I-I can't Angel. I'm sorry." I called. A cloaked figure stood at the end if the tunnel, a small boat next to him. I walked faster until I stood behind him. "Angel?" I asked. He spun around to face me. His dark hair and blue/green eyes were striking. Half of his face was covered by a white mask. "Luna?" He asked. His voice was deep and rich. "Come little mouse. I will take you to my liar." He said and motioned to the boat. I slowly stepped into the boat. He stood at the end and began to move us across the lake.
We arrived at a rather large liar full of curtains and a large organ off the side. I admired the beautiful instrument, my fingers itching to play the ivory keys. "You play little mouse?" The Phantom asked. "I-I......yes. I haven't in a long time but I would love to get back into it." I said looking away and blushing. "After I make my request you may play and make a request of your own." He said. I nodded vigorously. "I wish you to help me win your sister over. I will inform you there will be new managers soon as well. That is my request." He said simply. He made it sound so easy. "I can only promise but to try Phantom. My request will be for you to reach me to over come my fears and to sing better." I said blushing slightly. "You already sing wonderfully. You always have." He said. "Can you still give me lessons. I haven't practiced my voice in years since you stopped teaching my sister and I." I said and walked over to the organ. I rested my fingers on the smooth keys slightly worn from years of use and playing. "You may play. I will teach you again as a return for your request." I sat at the bench and sighed happily as I began to play a melancholy tune and began singing thinking if father.
'You were once my one companion
You were all that mattered
You were once a friend and father
Then my world was shattered
Wishing you were somehow here again
Wishing you were somehow near
Sometimes it seemed if I just dreamed
Somehow you would be hereWishing I could hear your voice again
Knowing that I never would
Dreaming of you won't help me to do
All that you dreamed I could
Passing bells and sculpted angels
Cold and monumental
Seem for you the wrong companions
You were warm and gentleToo many years fighting back tears
Why can't the past just die?
Wishing you were somehow here again
Knowing we must say, "Goodbye"
Try to forgive, teach me to live
Give me the strength to try
No more memories, no more silent tears
No more gazing across the wasted years
Help me say, "Goodbye"
Help me say, "GoodbyeAs i finished singing I noticed I had begun crying. "That was.....astounding little mouse." He said in a surprised tone. "Than-Thank you Phantom." I said blushing madly. "You were thinking of your father were you not?" He asked sitting next to me on a stool. "I-I was." I said feeling my eyes water. A hand hesitantly rested on my shoulder and I realized what I was wearing. And my cheeks began to burn. "Ph-phantom. I will come back tomorrow." I said standing. "One more request. I will cause the current Prima Dona to quite. I want you to become the new Prima Dona. You cannot refuse." He said and dismissed me with a wave if his hand. I stood there, frozen in fear. "But i-" "I said you cannot refuse." He said cutting me off. Suddenly the nerves were overwhelming and everything went black.
