The remaining 100,000 of class 1120 stood outside a gate. It was a dark blue crack in space time. The interdimensional bridge between Sierra and Kin. Stella Gate. You can’t see the bridge, but when you step on it, a blue pulse supports you. There is also handrails to guide someone across the bridge, into Kin. It is less monitored then most would think, due to the fact that there is no reason anyone would want to go through it. Most people return in body bags.

Becky sat down and did up her boots, and double checked Iron Crushed Fang. Free sat down with her and patted her on the back. “You ready, sis!?”

She had a devious crazy smile on her face. “Oh man, we’re about to enter Kin. The mountains and the forests! Oh man, oh man, oh man!” She couldn’t contain her excitement. She pulled the chain off of Iron and wrapped it through her belt loop.

Wraith walked over to her as he watched Free walk away. “Hello, Bec!” Becky rolled her head onto his lap. She grabbed his cheeks stretching her arms.

“Hi, sweetheart!” She said in a high pitched, adorable couple voice. “Hey, the top five are breaking off from Omega. You won’t see me ‘till we return in 3 days.”

“I’m aware, just thought I’d say bye…” He muttered grabbing a cloth and wiping his scythe clean. The long curved blade must have weighed a lot and lugged him down through the fight. It was nothing compared to Jaden’s 200 pounds of chains wrapped around his body. Gozlin had it easy with two dual pistols, and clips lining her legs, so she was a little impaired running. Free had his revolver and longsword not to much there unless he had them drawn. Amicci though, had a large platinum shield with a long silver rapier. The whole army of Raiders-in-training was ready to cross the bridge into Kin.

Hozzletop grabbed his megaphone and hollered across the vast crowd. “Students of Legends Academy. The danger of the creatures in Kin is very real, so alway have your weapons on the ready. Once over the bridge, you will follow your assigned professor to your designated camping spot. Once there you must fend off monsters for three days with your team. I wish you all the best of luck, we still aren’t done the paperwork from the arena, so do it for us. Legends Academy of military and academic excellence, you may cross the bridge.”

All the students stood up and walked to the gate. Becky, Free, Gozlin, Jaden, and Dragonetta walked up to the bridge together at the front of the line. They counted together before taking a leap onto the invisible bridge. “One, two, three!” and they jumped. Energy pulsed from their feet and they began to walk forwards. Soon Omega followed close behind, and continued over to Kin.

The bridge was about a kilometer long, so it was about a ten minute walk to the other side before they stepped onto grass. They enter near the top of a cliff in the dimension of Kin. Becky to a first breath of the air she knew one day she’d call home. Hozzletop pushed by them and started walking. “You five are with me. We have the farthest campsite so we have to get moving if we want to make it there by nightfall!” and he started walking. The witches exchanged curious glances before walking after him.

After a good six hours, one on the hill, two in the plains, and three in the forest, they arrived at the campsite. It was a clearing in the woods, and each of them brought out a tent. Hozzletop sat down and started a campfire and the other students joined him. “Gather round, it’s story time. The monsters calm down for night.”

Dragonetta’s pissy attitude returned as she let out a very thoughtful. “If this story doesn’t give me any sort of satisfaction I swear to Luedo.”

“Ah, you want to hear about Magi Luedo?” Hozzletop misheard. She merely smacked her own face.

Becky asked “Pardon me, I’m guilty of using the slang, but I have never heard the story of Magi. I’d love to hear it.”
