The next day, Jaden and Free were hanging out in their room. They were watching the Tessin Ball game on that day. Tessin Ball was a sport that involved two attackers and two defenders, plus a runner for each team. The runner has to activate the ball by putting it against one of their goal posts and then ran across the field, and get the ball into the net. The world championships were on, and even someone as unsporty as Jaden was into it. The best part was, it was their hometown teams against each other. The Restequin Reapers and the Yutechen Tristmen.

Jaden popped open a can of soda and started to drink. After taking a few loud gups he wiped his mouth. “C’mon Tristmen, pull your heads out of your asses!” The third period was coming to a close. Jaden’s team was down one point, and had ample chances to score.  They just seemed to be incompetent of playing the game they were paid to play. Jaden sat on the edge of his seat as the clock ticked down from ten. the ball was primed and number 43 was running up the field. He jumped onto an enemy defence man's shoulders and threw the ball at the top corner of the net. Jaden lept out of his chair in excitement, but as he jumped, the goalie did a front flip and nailed his heels into the ball. Hurtling it back into the runners face. The bell rung and the Reapers won. Jaden collapsed to his knees and Free checked his watch.

“Alright, well, that was fun. I’m going into the library. I need to do some studying with Amicci. See ya, JD.” Free meandered towards the door, pulling out his phone whistling. Jaden had his head in his lap.

“We were so close…”He muttered with his hands at his sides.

Free walked into the library and Amicci was studying at a desk. He walked up and she didn’t take a second before giving orders. “Hey, Free. Grab me a book on the Advancements of Close range military tech.” Free pivoted on his foot into the non-fiction aisle and picked through the military section.Titles included, The Monsters of Kin, and another fan favourite, The Death Of General Fentiman.

As he grazed the books one caught his eye. The Battle For Fort Lightsilidia. Free immediately slid it into his backpack and grabbed the book Amicci was looking for. He threw it at her and took off without a trace.

he walked back into his room and Jaden was in the same position. Free kicked him up and screamed. “Wake up, dipshit. We’re reading.”

He grumbled through his lap. “I’m up.”

Hours passed, and the dynamic duo finished the whole book. They both sat at the desk under a candle light. “Did you spot the issue, Jaden?”

“What do you mean?” He snarled.

“Let me shorten the story. They charged the monsters full force and Hozley broke north, while Lightsilidia went south. The fight ravaged for a few hours when Light got pinned by a Cell creature. Hozley killed it and saved her, however, earlier we learned that around the same time he was taking a fort. Most people brush it off as a mistake, an error in the history books. But I think someone else would have noticed.”

“C’mon, Luck. Thats more then enough time for him to run if nothing attacked him.”

“But that’s not the worst part. That is the last point where Light was seen alive. Afterwards on the escape the two split off. Hozley claimed that a Twin Reaper killed her but I find that hard to believe. There was only one thing there with the skill to kill the warrior of light.”

“Are you suggesting…” Jaden backed up a little bit.

“Yes, I believe Headmaster Hozley Toprait of Legends Academy of Academic and Military excellence is the murderer behind the death of LIghtsilidia Gold, the witch of Love, the warrior of light.” And he blew out the candle.

The next morning Becky stood in the atrium, looking at the gravestone in the center. “Here lie Magi Luedo” She read aloud. All of a sudden, an alarm blared. A loud alarm. She knew what it was.

At the gates of the academy, was Dragonetta and Jaden, knowing what was about to happen. Smoke blew around the entrance and out walked seven figures. In the center was Baxter, Fiona, and Jade. The fourth mystery witch, Misery was with them to. Then there was three others. A tall half asian half caucasian girl with a long katana and long black hair. A boy with a black biker jacket and half shaven white hair. Lastly, a boy with short spiky red hair and a green zip up hoodie. Baxter gave the first order. “Witches, your job is to hunt and kill your lightself. Retreat if necessary. Draco and Jade, it doesn't look like you’ll have to go far.” Jade and the white haired boy (Now identified as Draco) walked up. Dragonetta cracked her knuckles and Jaden tested his chains.

Dragonetta lit her hands on fire and charged, throwing the first attack in the assault.
