I'm weird for saying this but, wow, he's cute! daydreamed Tsunami. She had just got back from visiting Riptide and she almost wanted to go back and stay there with him. I mean, she had time to since the school was on break and all her friends were now just hanging out at Glory's kingdom but, something made her want to stay in the rainforest.
Right now, Tsunami was swimming around a small pool of water by herself. The silence wasn't why she wanted to stay there but maybe it was because she wanted to be with her friends. Or friend? Tsunami didn't know which friend though. She couldn't just pick one of her friends she liked the most.
Tsunami heard a sound coming from the bushes. She eyed it caustiosly as she saw the bushes move closer to the water. Tsunami splashed the "bush" using her tail as a Rainwing took shape trying to dry herself off.
"Ugh, Tsunami!" complained Glory. She then made eye-contact with Tsunami as she smiled and came to sit next to her in the water.
"Trying to scare me?" asked Tsunami as she smirked. "It obviously didn't work out."
"Shush, I want this to be a relaxing and non-fighting time since I never get to get away from work," demanded Glory as she sunk into the water. "Wow, this is cold."
"This is nice. What are you talking about?" replied Tsunami as she did a figure eight in the water.
Glory rolled her eyes. "Sorry, I don't understand how Seawings find this relaxing." Glory then turned into a Seawing. She first made it look like Tsunami but then changed it to Riptide as she made a heart with her claws.
Glory quietly giggled as Tsunami frowned at her flashing squid brain using her scales. Glory then cocked her head as she tried to copy Tsunami with her lights. She made yellow spots appear where Tsunami said squid brain for just an instance as she then changed back to her normal self.
"You should try learning aquatic. The thing you did with the yellow might actually work for communication," commented Tsunami.
"Oh, I was doing it just to mock you and whatever you said," admitted Glory as they then both started laughing until someone shouted, "Glory, someone needs your expertise!"
"Ugh, coming!" shouted back Glory as she then waved goodbye to Tsunami and rushed out of the pool.
Tsunami then swam around a bit more diving towards the bottom of the pool. She quickly got there since it wasn't deep and then burst out of the water onto the shore. She shook herself off and just when she started to walk away, Tsunami heard leaves rustle and a thump on the ground as a dragon jumped down from the trees.
Tsunami immediately faced the sound realizing it was Deathbringer with his grin on his face. Everyone knew about Deathbringer's famous smirk but this time it was a different one. It looked like an embarrassed grin.
"Glory's not here by the way. Someone just called for her," grunted Tsunami as she turned to walk away again.
Deathbringer stopped her as he put a claw on her tail. "I know. I told her someone was needing her so she would go away."
Tsunami turned back around to face Deathbringer. It was weird. When Deathbringer had touched her, she felt like she wanted to stay near him as long as possible. Oh moons, I couldn't have wanted to be in the rainforest because of him. Tsunami then looked up at Deathbringer's face. It looked sparkly and shiny which added onto the already too perfect features he had. His eyes, his snout; he's handso--
What it wrong with me?!?! I mean, I can admit he's attractive with his appearance and personality but what about Riptide? What about Glory?!?! Tsunami started thinking into what Glory would do if she took Deathbringer away from her. She would literally hate me because I know deep down inside she actually does love Deathbringer back like he does to her.
Tsunami got out of her thoughts remembering she was in a conversation. Deathbringer was just looking at her. STOP MAKING ME LIKE YOU!!! Tsunami screamed in her head.
"Um," Tsunami cleared her throat, "Why did you want her to go away?"
"Well, I wanted to see you...alone," he responded without hesitation. Tsunami just exploded with thoughts in her head. No, this can't be happening. If he's meaning to ask me that question, I have no idea what to do. Glory, I'm so sorry!
Tsunami was wrapped up in her thoughts again. Deathbringer was still staring at her. He then soon broke the silence.
"Look, Tsunami. This might be all crazy to you but I can't let you be with some other dragon," expressed Deathbringer. He then reached out and grabbed Tsunami's talons with his own. "I need you Tsunami. I-I love you and--"
Deathbringer stopped as he came up closer to Tsunami. Part of Tsunami wanted to let him but the other half told her to not because of what could happen. She quickly backed up and took her talons away from his.
"Deathbringer, I can't. Glory--" Tsunami started but got cut off from Deathbringer.
"She doesn't have to know, just please, stay with me," burst out Deathbringer. He tried to take another step towards Tsunami but then there was a dragon who apeard which would definitely make the conversation awkward.
"Ahem," said Glory with a frown on her face. She looked like she had been there for awhile and Tsunami was frozen. She had tried to stop Deathbringer but she probably hadn't been firm enough and now Glory was probably thinking Tsunami was doing the opposite. Tsunami managed to turn her head to face Glory and saw that she was staring right at her. Tsunami felt tears swell up in her eyes. She never cried often but this was definitely the time to.
Glory and Deathbringer then loudly started laughing. They hugged each other as Tsunami watched in fear. It wasn't making any sense to her.
"We got you so good!" roared Glory in between laughs. She then turned to Deathbringer saying, "You were right. This is fun!"
Tsunami stared at them for awhile until her shocked face slowly turned into a smile. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she said, "I hate you guys so much. That was literally the most terrifying thing that has happened in my life and I have fought an animus statue before."
Glory and Deathbringer then came in for a group hug. They stayed there for awhile before they all flew to get something to eat. Tsunami was so glad Deathbringer was joking but when he had touched her in the hug, she still felt that side of herself that wanted to stay there forever.
I love Glorybringer but you have to admit, Deathnami is still a pretty good ship! I had so much fun writing this so hopefully you had fun reading it. Still planning on posting again next Friday so stay tuned! -GlorybringerAnyone
