Chapter 10

Sam's P.O.V.

I'm so happy to be back in Wolverhampton! I really missed this place... And my family. We were staying at my grandmother's house for about two weeks. All of my cousins are here as well so it's a full house! I'm just so glad that my grandmother turned my mum, uncle and aunt's rooms into spare ones so there is enough room for everyone. Plus, there are three bathrooms here. Thank God! Otherwise, we'd be fighting for it. I usually get the bathroom in the basement since no one likes that one since it's "dirty". It so isn't. I know grandmother and she keeps everything, EVERYTHING clean.

I've already been here for five days. We did a lot of last minute shopping before Christmas. I mostly got money from everyone but I'm not complaining. This way I can buy the things I want myself. On Christmas morning, I had received a text from Niall. I was kind of surprised that he would text me. I thought he would've been busy.

-Niall: 10:43am-

Merry Christmas Samantha! (: Hope you have a great day and I hope to see you soon! xx P.S. I have a little something for you ;) <3

My insides all melted when I read this. He is just the sweetest thing! He's the only one, besides my mum when she's angry, who calls me by my full name. I really like him. Like, more than ever. Before, I honestly liked him because he was cute and because he was Niall Horan from One Direction. Now that I've met him and got to know more about him, I feel like I'm liking him for him. Not just his famous self. I got all excited and giggly when I read the last part. I wasn't expecting it at all! We've only met two months ago and already he has something for me? I sighed. I had nothing for him however. I started to get a little worried. I had texted him back.

-Me: 10:45am-

Aww thanks Ni! ;) Merry Christmas to you too! xx I miss you already aha :P & I don't have anything for you...

To my surprise, he replied right away.

-Niall: 10:45am-

Aha it's okay love. You don't have to get me anything in return. I was just out shopping with mum when I came across something that reminded me of you so much! I couldn't resist... So I bought it. Hopefully I can give it to you before school starts again.

-Me: 10:46am-

Oh but I want to! It would be the polite thing to do & awww really? You are too amazing<3

I blushed while sending this. I normally didn't get all flirty and gushy like this with guys but with Niall, I couldn't help it.

-Niall: 10:47am-

Aha okay. If you insist & thanks! You're pretty amazing as well<3

I smiled and squeeled. My relationship with him was going great! We had stopped talking after that because I had been busy all day.

It's the twenty sixth today and guess what I found out? Liam lives just four houses down from here! What a coincidence! I never knew that he lived close to grandmother. I was out, walking Sisko, my grandmother's dog, when I saw him come out with a set of car keys. He quickly looked at me and I waved. He obviously didn't recognize me at first because he kind of looked at me funny but waved anyway. I laughed and approached him. Then he smiled.

"Oh! Hey Sam, right?"

"Yep! That's me! I knew you lived on the same street as my grandmother!"

He looked surprised. "Old Lady Jackson is your grandmother?!"

I raised my eyebrow. "That's what you call her?"

He flushed and looked away. "Yeah... Not to insult her or anything of course. It's just something I've always called her. I could never pronounce her first name and I knew she was an old lady so that'd how I came up with Old Lady Jackson."
