Sam's P.O.V.

It's really hard to believe that Harry would hurt her like this. They've been friends since forever! I can even tell that he really likes her. I've known for a while. If only she knew. If she did... Wait, never mind. If she knew then it would just complicate things. If she knew about his love for her, she would be even more upset because he's with another girl.

The second I heard about this, I had this strange urge to punch him, and I never want to punch anyone. Maybe it's because I never get this upset. Sometimes I'd like to think that all boys are the same but I know that that's not true; Niall is a sweetheart. Nobody compares to him.

I sighed and hugged Miranda tighter. She cried a little more.

"I-I j-just d-don't understand!" she wailed.

"Shh, relax. He's just as confused as you are. He probably thinks that he made the right decision. He probably never thought that it would've hurt you this much."

"Obviously. I just- I'm always jealous when he hangs out with other girls. I know he's not mine but he's my best friend and I don't want anyone to take him away from me, you know?"

"Yeah, I know. You just love him."

"I do... But I don't 'love love' him, if you know what I mean."

"Hun, deep, deep down, you 'love love' him."

She shook her head and laughed.

"There's no way Sam. He's practically my brother. That's just not... right."

"Uh huh, uh huh. Okaaaaay... whatever you say."

We didn't say anything for a bit until she sighed.

"Why Harry..." she mumbled.

I knew she was going to start crying again. I pushed her away a little and looked at her.

"You know what, M? I've said this before but forget about this. Forget about him for a while, alright?"

"How-"

"I'm taking you out. We are going to go and do all of your favorite things tonight. Sounds good?"

She smiled and nodded. I smiled back and mentally sighed. I hope this worked.

First, we went shopping. I knew she liked doing so. We bought a couple items each.

Next, we went to buy ice cream. She also loved this. She acted like a child on Christmas morning when she got her ice cream.

Afterwards, we went to the bowling alley and I noticed that she bowled a little harder than usual. When she was going up for her seventh round, I whispered:

"Clear your mind. Get him out."

She nodded and got a strike. I smiled and she squealed.

Finally, we topped off the night with a bunch of snacks and some comedy movies. I did my best to avoid romantic movies for obvious reasons.

By two-thirty, we were crashed out on my living room floor, wrapped in a blanket. I think this night went pretty good. I was satisfied with how it turned out. I hope that helped with her pain.
