Sam's P.O.V.
Life can get messy. Especially for some people, like Miranda.
I feel for her. Her best friend lied to her several times and they got into another argument. Actually, the way she described them to me makes them sound more like fights. I don't know how she deals with all of this. Plus Harry insulted her date. That was a little harsh I would have to say. I don't blame him though. He loves her so much and he doesn't want her to get hurt again. But on the other hand, he hurt her as well...
Urg, poor Miranda. So much drama. I just hope everything will work out in the end. I have a feeling that it will. I know that deep deep down, M wants to forgive him but for some reason, she just won't. No matter what happens, I'm there for her.
I, on the other hand, am feeling great! After I got my prom dress and after I brought Miranda and Nat home, I called my mom at work because I was dying to show her my dress. However, she wanted to see me in it so she told me to wait until she got home. Those three hours went by super slow but I kept myself occupied. I had some homework to finish. Well, it isn't really homework but it's still work. I have my first exam tomorrow so I really have to study. I think that I'll do good. My first exam is math. It's not my strongest subject but I know I can do it.
One thing I know I can't do is ask Niall to prom. He'll be busy, I just know it. He's famous so of course he'll be busy. He won't have time to go to a dance with me, one of the biggest dances of my life! I mean, why would he? Would he even be allowed? Shoot, I didn't even think of that. Would Simon let him? Would the school even let me bring someone who's not from school, someone who's famous? I mean, maybe the principal will accept it if I explained the situation to him. Maybe Niall would be able to bribe him.
I didn't even realize that I was in deep thought until my phone started ringing. I practically threw myself off the bed just to get my phone. I looked around but couldn't find it. I searched everywhere in my room but found nothing. The ringing stopped, then started again. This time, I heard it coming from the bathroom. I rushed in but missed the call again.
2 missed calls from Niall...
My heart hammered inside my chest. Then my phone beeped.
-Niall: 4:36pm-
Sam?
I smiled because in my mind, I could just hear him say it. I called him back and he answered me faster. "Hey angel!" he said enthusiastically.
"Hey Ni. Sorry for not answering the first two times. I couldn't find my phone." I replied, blush creeping to my cheeks.
He just laughed. "That's fine. We're talking now so that's all that matters. So listen, can you do me a favour and check to see how warm it is outside?"
I raised and eyebrow. "Um, sure I guess. That's such a weird request."
"Hey, you should know how weird I am by now."
I laughed while going upstairs to check the temperature. I looked out the window to check the thermometer.
"It's about 20 degrees out," I told him.
"Okay thank you!"
"Why can't you check the weather yourself?"
"Because I am no where near a thermometer. Plus, I can't check it on my phone because I am talking to you."
I rolled my eyes. "You could have checked it earlier."
He sighed dramatically. "But I didn't want to!"
I laughed and so did he.
"So, what are you up-"
Then someone rang the doorbell.
