Harry's P.O.V.
Today is the day. I'm going home for two weeks. I'll be able to spend some time away from Rachel. I think it will do me some good. Also, I hope I get to talk to Miranda. I really need her to hear me out.
As soon as the airplane landed and stopped, I jumped up, got out, grabbed my bags and made my way to the waiting area. Just as I hoped, mum was there waiting. I didn't even say goodbye to the boys. I just went up to her and hugged her.
"Let's get you home." she said.
I followed her to the car and we drove off. We got home and I checked my phone for any new messages. I had some. Three messages... from Rachel.
-Rachel: 4:27pm-
Hey babe, I miss you so much <3
-Rachel: 4:54pm-
Call me when you get home! I'll be waiting xx
-Rachel: 5:38pm-
I wish you were here <3
I groaned. She's nice and all but she's so clingy. I shouldn't have gave her a second chance but everyone deserves one, right?
I ignored her texts and got out of the car. I grabbed my stuff and walked inside, feeling relaxed. I took a deep breath and smiled. This house never fails to make me happy. Mum closed the door behind me and put a hand on my back.
"Why don't you go rest for a while?"
I nodded and went to my room. I sighed as my stomach hit the bed. I was tired. More than I thought. I closed my eyes and let sleep take over. It never came. There was this little thought in my head that kept preventing me from going to sleep: Miranda. I needed to see her again. I don't think she would want to see me just yet but I want to. I rolled over and took my phone out. I had to talk to her.
-Me: 6:11pm-
Hey, I know it's been a while but I just wanted to let you know that I'm home.
I put my phone down beside me and sighed. I sure hope she replies. It would be nice to know that she still knows I exist.
I rolled over and tried again. This time, sleep came and I drifted away.

"Harry! Could you please shut your phone off? It keeps beeping every five seconds!" Gemma yelled from the kitchen.
I finished brushing my teeth and walked into the kitchen. I grabbed my phone and silenced it. I had almost a dozen messages from Rachel, one being a picture of herself. I sighed and read them all. "I miss you", "You never call", "Answer me!", "You'll never guess what happened yesterday!"... stuff like that. I really don't care that much about what she has to say. I've been home for three days now and that's all she's been doing. I finally caved in and replied.
-Me: 11:45am-
Hey, sorry I haven't been calling or replying often. I've been very busy and I just haven't had time to send a message. Can you please keep the messages to a minimum during the next week and a half? Thanks xo.
I rubbed my face and silently groaned. Gemma must have heard me.
"Why do you put up with her anyway? She seems crazy."
"She's not crazy, just really annoying. Wouldn't you do the same if someone famous would pay attention to you?"
She pondered for a minute. "Hmm, maybe. Especially if it was my favourite one."
"Exactly. I'm Rachel's favourite one."
She shook her head and stood up. "I wish you luck... with everything."
