Harry's P.O.V.
*SEVERAL DAYS LATER- PROM DAY*
YES! She forgave me once and for all! I am the happiest man on Earth. She's amazing. I'm lucky to have her in my life. Too bad that what's-his-face is in her life as well... I don't care what I have to do: I will tell her. I will tell her how I feel, how I want to spend forever with her. I just hope she feels the same. Otherwise, this will be awkward. I really want her. I meant it when I sang that song to her last week. She probably doesn't know. Or does she?
Today is prom day. I still wish that she remembered the promise. There's nothing I can do now. I'll tell her after... Maybe. I don't want to make her feel bad about it though. I also don't want her to regret going with him. He seems like an okay guy... I just don't like the way he acts and touches my girl. Just seeing them hold hands and give each other kisses on the cheek is enough to make me want to punch a wall. I know that I should let her be friends with other guys but he clearly wants to be more than friends.
Enough about him, back to Miranda.
I want to do something nice for her today since it's her graduation. I'm going to go to the ceremony of course. Maybe I should get her some flowers or something. I don't know. Oh I know! I should ask Sam. I took out my phone and called Niall.
"Hey mate, can you do me a favour?" I asked.
"Yeah what's up?"
"Can you give me Sam's number? I need to call her for something."
"For what?"
He sounded alarmed. I laughed. "Don't worry man, I need some advice on what to get Miranda as a graduation gift."
He sighed in relief and gave me her number. I thanked him, hung up and called her.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Hey Sam it's Harry."
"Hey! What's up? Can I just say how amazing you were last week? It even made me cry!"
I smiled. "Thanks. I really tried. Listen I need your help."
"Okay, with what?"
I explained how I wanted to get her something nice for graduation. I wasn't expecting it but she squealed.
"A ring! Definitely a ring! That really shouts 'I love you and I want to spend forever with you.'"
"Hmm, good idea."
"Also, you should send her a corsage... Anonymously."
"Why?"
"She told me that Austin never gave her one. Honestly, I think he forgot or doesn't care."
"But what if he gives her one at prom?"
She snorted. "I highly doubt it. I've known Austin for a while and he doesn't care about these kinds of things."
"What things? Prom?"
"Yeah, prom, dances... anything that has to do with having a date. He just brings the girl to please her then when it's over, he keeps flirting with the girl until he gets bored."
"So, what you're saying is that he will leave Miranda after prom?"
"Unfortunately, yes."
I let out a low growl. "We need to tell her!"
She laughed. "I would love to but do you honestly think that she will listen to us?"
I sighed. Sam was right; there's no way Miranda will believe us. She usually only sees the good in people. If you're nice to her then she'll be nice to you. Also, she seems really attracted to Austin. I sure hope that she's not planning on becoming his girlfriend. If so, I will personally hurt him because he will hurt my girl.
