~August 2017-5 months later~
Before we left, I went through the house to make sure me, Dan, or Elliot didn't forget anything. We all decided to go on vacation to Japan! Of course not just Dan and I, but everyone else. Obviously. So let's do some catching up. Well, Sarah and Ellie have gone on a few dates, but nothing is official, and Phil told me he's gonna start ring shopping soon. Ellie also came out to her parents...

"Deep breaths." I told her softly before she knocked. A tall blonde woman answered the door.
"Oh...it's you..." Her mother said, trying to look and sound excited.
"I came to tell you something, it's kind of important"
"Unless you're here to tell me you something I care about, then I'm busy." She said. I glared at her mother.
"You know what? We're wasting our time here." I said, grabbing Ellie's wrist.
"Who are you again?" Her mother asked.
"Someone who cares about your daughter more than you do." I spat
"I care about my daughter more than anything you arrogant imbecile." She gasped.
"Then why didn't you choose adoption?" I asked her. Before anything else could be said between us, Ellie stepped in.
"Mom I'm gay." Her mom gasped and gave both me and her daughter a disgusted expression.
"Maybe I should have chosen adoption! Get away from my house.. Immediately!"
"With pleasure" I smiled at her. I grabbed Ellie's wrist and stomped away with her. After we got in the car she looked hurt, but happy too.

She's happier than I've seen her in a while. I saw her arms too. There were some fresh, some new marks, some vertically, some horizontally, all up and down her arm.

After what seemed like years of waiting, our plane took off at 6:00 am. Dan was asleep within an hour, and I was right after him.

The plane landed at about 12:56 pm, Tokyo time. My heart was beating out of my chest. We were in Tokyo! We got to the hotel about half an hour later. Ellie and Sarah shared a room, with two separate beds, Me and Dan got a room to ourselves, and Addy, Phil and Sarah all had a room. The rooms were extremely nice, might I add. As soon as we got there, we all tried to get to sleep as fast as we could, in an effort to avoid jet lag. But we didn't wake up till noon the next day. As soon as we woke up we went to eat, and the day was uneventful, but we got a whole two weeks here, so we took the next two days to get caught up on time.

The first day we actually decided to do something, we went to Ueno zoo. I wanted to go to Ueno park really badly. It was extremely beautiful and I just wanted to take it in. Whether or not we got to do what I wanted, being here at all was a dream come true. So we spent our weeks wisely.
Kinda...
Let's just say a lot of money was spent.

It was the last day, and finally, we got to go to Ueno park. We walked in and it was the most beautiful place I'd ever seen. It was so alive, and cherry blossom trees were everywhere.
"I'm so glad we're all here." I told Dan.
"Me too. Although it's my second time, I never thought I'd get to go with someone who I love the way I love you. Not that I don't love Phil. Just-" I stopped him by kissing him.
"Just shut up, I know." I smiled. We kept on walking, our fingers intertwined. The end of the day came near, and we reached the end of the park, where a beautiful lake was (idk if this is true or not) we all sat staring at it. Dan grabbed my hand and walked back to the middle of the walkway, where big branches covered in flowers hung just above our heads. I gave him a confused look, but was no longer confused when he got down on one knee. I felt a giant lump form in my throat and tears urged to fall from my eyes.
"Violet, my time with you, has been some of the best times of my life. Whether it's sitting on the couch scrolling tumblr together, or being here, in Tokyo, I just love being with you, and I want to be with you for the rest of eternity." He said. He took out one of the most beautiful rings I've ever seen in my life. My hands shot to my mouth, this was cliche, but I loved it.
"Violet Elizabeth Berinelli, will you marry me?" I nodded, tears streaming from my eyes. His beautiful chocolate brown eyes lit up. He slid the ring on my finger and stood up and gave me a giant hug, followed by a long, passionate kiss. Both of us smiled through it, everyone around us was clapping, but it seemed so quiet compared to the sound of my heart beating. I loved this man. He was mine forever. After the long kiss we turned around to see Ellie and Sarah kissing.
"Guess who just got a girlfriend?" Sarah asked excitedly. We laughed and finished our last day here.
Trust me, I felt bad for it, but it's a good thing Elliot's room was a whole room away, because I wouldn't have wanted him to hear what went on in me and Dan's room that night.
