By the time I had pulled up in front of Carly's house the rain was pooring down so hard I could barely see in front of my windshield. Big splatters of water blew at my car from all directions, so loud that I could hear it over the Ed Sheeran song blasting over my speakers.
The front door of Carly's house swung open and she ran out, holding her hood securely over her head. She ran down her walkway in record time and jumped into the passenger side, shaking out her bangs. "Jeez, what did you bring the bad weather with you, North?" She grumbled with a smile, pulling off her jacket and tossing it into the back seat.
"I suppose I did," I chuckled as I backed out of the drive way. "I like the blonde," I said, referring to the platinum color her hair now was, in contrast to the brunette she'd been last time I saw her photo on Facebook.
"Alright, alright, enough small talk. Spill, what the hell is going on with you, Stell? Last time I hear from you, you're working some crappy intern job making coffee. Now you're following around a boyband on their world tour?"
"There's nothing really to spill," I lied, turning down the radio just as Little Things started to play. Hearing Louis' voice sound so raw and sexy was the last thing I needed right now. My head was swarming with confusion, mixed with inappropriate thoughts about Louis. It just wasn't a good place to be stuck right now.
"Okay, so you weren't photographed kissing one, Harry Styles? And rumors aren't flying all over twitter that a certain Louis Tomlinson is staying at your house?"
"Well, I guess there's a bit to spill," I allowed. "Yeah I kissed Harry, but it never went anywhere after that. And yeah, rumor is Louis is here with me."
"Rumor is, or he is?"

"Oh my god, I cannot believe you actually slept with a member of One Direction after he sang one of his cheesy songs to you!" Carly bursted out laughing as soon as I'd finished telling her about it. She actually clutched her stomach as giggles errupted from her chest.
I ran a hand over my face and mumbled "I was drunk and..." I sighed, now moving my hand to run it through my hair, embarrassed. I knew I shouldn't have even bothered to tell her, and I never intended too. She just kept asking question after question and trapping me in corners. But even though she was making fun of me, she was my best friend and I knew I could trust her to at least keep it to herself.
"And... and what?" She asked, raising her eyebrow at me. "Oh my god, Stella! You like him!" She exclaimed, sounding like a teenage girl as her face lit up with excitement.
"No, I don't!" I shrieked, shaking my head back and forth visiciously. Who was I trying to convince? Her... or me?
"So what then?" She cocked her head to the side, giving me a questioning look.
I let out a long sigh and looked out the window. We had driven around for a while and then eventually just ended up parked outside of Carly's house. She ran inside and got a tub of Ben and Jerry's and two spoons, and now we sat with our chairs leaned back digging in.
"Can I trust you, like with something huge? You have to promise me you will not tell anyone, anything, because I could get in so much trouble. No one knows." I starred at her, trying to gage if I could honestly trust her with something so important. I used to tell Carly everything in high school - but this was different. If word of this got out I'd be in so much trouble.
"Of course you can. What's going on?"
"What I'm about to tell you... I'm not proud of," I muttered as I shovelled out another spoonful of cookie dough icecream. "You can't judge me, okay?"
