"Mmmm," I groaned as I rolled over in my bed the next morning. I stretched my arms up, feeling the satisfying tightening of the arch in my back as I yawned. As I did so, the blanket fell off me and I felt a breeze engulf my body. I reached down to quickly pull it back up. Holy shit, why was I naked?
I rubbed at my sleep covered eyes then blinked rapidly. The blanket fell off me again, but this time I realized it was actually being pulled to the side. I looked over and my jaw dropped as hazy memories from the previous night floated back through my subconscious.
Louis was naked too.
"Oh my god, oh my god," I rasped as I took deep breaths, throwing myself off the bed and hurriedly looking for my clothing. I found my bra and underwear, but nothing else. Where the hell had I taken off my clothes too? I grabbed a pair of Louis' boxers from his bag, and his red v-neck and threw it on. I just had to get out of there and back to my hotel room with Alexis as quickly as possible. Hopefully everyone else would still have been sleeping by then.
I tiptoed out of Louis' room and past the couch, where I found my t-shirt and purse, but not my skirt.
"Stella?"
I quickly jumped up from where I was bent over, searching around the floor. "Oh... Hi, Liam," I mumbled as I clutched my clothes to my chest.
His eyes searched me and then a smile broke across his features. "Looking for your skirt?"
I felt my face flush a deep read. "Uh, yeah... kind of?"
"It's in the sink," He winked as he took a sip from the glass of orange juice in his hand.
"Oh right... I spilt beer all over it," I nodded as the events of last night came rushing back to me. As Louis had tried to push me onto my back while kissing me, I swung at a beer and poured it all over myself. We had then decided it was time to head back to his room, giggling and taking long breaks to kiss along the way.
My stomach lurched at the memory, a nausea setting over me that could arguably be from either the stress, or the massive hang over I would soon be nursing.
I ran my hands through my messy hair to try and tame it slightly. Liam was still grinning at me, and it was making me uncomfortable. "You can probably just throw out it out," I mumbled. "It's probably ruined."
"Yeah, you're probably right," He agreed.
"Liam?"
His eyebrow arched as his eyes searched mine. "Yeah?"
"Can you do me a favor and not tell Louis that you saw me this morning... please?" My voice was quiet, begging of him to at least allow me this one thing.
Never once had I planned on going so far with this plan that I would actually sleep with Louis. I didn't want to establish that personal aspect of our relationship, because once he found out the truth, I believed it would only hurt him more to feel used that way. Now one stupid drunken mistake, and I had ruined that. It was like I just kept finding ways to make this worse on him.
Not to mention the fact that in less than twenty four hours I would be on my way home to see my family - and Max. The guy I hoped would still love me after the fucked up things I did, as much as I loved him.
Liam's teasing smirk turned into a frown, lines etching into his forward as he shrugged. "Uh, yeah, sure, whatever."
"Thank you, Liam." I said sincerely. "Really."
