Hey, so basically this is loosly based upon best friend and a unbelievably cute boy. Obviously, none of this has happened to either of them but it was the cool style of character they have.
Please enjoy the chapter and let me know what you think. this is my first Fanfic!! XD
Shannon's POV:
"Get up Shannon! You're going to be late on your first day!" Mum screamed from the foot of the stairs. Rolling out my cosy warm bed before putting some music on my small stero that sat at my bedside. 'If It Means A lot To You' by A Day To Remember came onto shuffle; it is my favourite song at the moment. Swiftly, I jumped into the shower before slipping on an Asking Alexandria tee, black skinnies, red vans and my Bring Me The Horizon jacket. After that, I quickly straightened my long, black hair before applying a thin layer makeup and running down the stairs.
"Come on Shannon, your bus is gonna be 'ere soon" Mum sighed.
"K" I simply replied
"Look, I know this is all strange at the moment hunny, but it will be okay. Its different now" she tried to reassure me.
'Yeah its different, its fucking worse!' I wanted to shout... It's true though.
"K" I repeated as I walked out of the door, slamming it shut behind me.
Finally I had a half decent life: two good friends as well as my school was starting to accept me and now my mam has taken all that away from me. I was getting better too; we have been here two days and I hate it already. I wiped a stray tear away before stopping at the bus stop.
***
A blue, double-decker bus pulled up and I climbed aboard. As I searched for a seat, I could feel people looking at me. Watching me. Judging me. I found an empty seat at the back of the bus next to a long-haired boy, who is wearing skinny jeans. "E-excuse me, c-can I sit here" I asked him, trying not to let my social anxiety take over.
"Go ahead" he replied without looking up.
There, we sat in silence for a few minutes but it seemed like for eternity. I wanted to talk but I didn't want to annoy him. It's not like he would like me anyway. "so... What year you in?" I looked at him while I asked. His brown hair covered most of his face and he really suited his beanie.
"11" he answered with his deep voice.
"Same" I grinned. He returned the small smile, keeping his head down. How mysterious.
Eventually, we arrived at school. Honestly, I wanted to get the day over as quickly as possible but at the same time I didn't want to enter. Hopefully, it is better than what my old education was like. We all flooded off the bus, becoming surrounded by many students. I looked for the boy but I couldn't see him; he had completely vanished.
I didn't even know his name.
Stepping into the building where I was given my timetable and was directed to my form room. Other students were crashing around as I kept in the general flow of the crowd.
"Hey emo scum!" I heard someone shout.
God this school is Hell too...
