Riety Pov.
I haven't spoken to Kehlani since this morning. I stood outside waiting on Kehlani.
"Hey Riety." Vey said hugging me from behind.
I jumped. "Boy don't be doing that. Scaring me and shit."
"My bad ma. Who you waiting on?"
"Kehlani." I said.
"Oh, can I come pick you up later?" He asked.
"Sure. I'll text you when I'm ready." I said.
"Ok."
Just then Kehlani pulled up. I hugged Vey, we said our goodbyes and i got in the car.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey riety. I know you don't want to move but we have to."
"It's ok."
"Ok." She said. We pulled up infront of the house and out ran kayla.
"Mommy. It's daddy." She said. She looked like she had been crying.
"What's wrong?" Kehlani asked.
"Hes not talking or breathing." She said.
Me and Kehlani ran in and saw Zay on the floor.
Kehlani Pov.
"Zay, wake up." I said shaking him. He didn't move.
"Riety call for help." I yelled. She ran out and called on her phone.
I laid my head on his chest and I didn't hear anything. I started crying. Riety came back and told me they were on the way. All I could think of was losing him.
