Meaning of Family

Anthony's Pov:

I been searching high and low to find a new place for me and Temperance and I'm not gone lie, I do not want to ever do this again. But I finally found us a house that's in a good neighborhood with a great school system and it's literally twenty minutes from Temperance doctor's office and ten minutes from the children's hospital the baby will be staying in. And it only took me four days to find with the help of Sid, Zane, Dr. Coles, Dr. Lewis, Robin, Justin, Lele, Mama, Mama T, Grandma, Grandpops, and pretty much everybody else.

"Hey baybeh." I said walking into her hospital room.

She is due to get release on May 9th when she will be 17 weeks. Her back is healing good none the least and her mental health is better but shit I'm ready for my baby to come home and it's only May 6th.

"Hey snugga pops." She said eating her ice cream.

"You finished filling out the paper work?"

We decided this would be the hospital she gives birth in because the children's hospital is right beside this hospital. They are a joint hospital.

"Yep yep. I really like this hospital." She said looking up at me. "Kinda don't wanna go home."

"Nah you bring your ass home. I found the perfect house, got the baybeh room painted and set up, got a child safety car and everything. You bring yo ass home."

"Well I guess I can if you miss me that much." She said looking at me. "Your baby hasn't stopped moving since that day baby."

"Hm" I said getting in the bed with her. "You getting so..." I stopped and looked at her as she raised an eyebrow. "Your starting to show more." I said changing my words around.

"Mmhm" She said laying my hand on her stomach.

She moved my hand around until I felt kicks.

"Aw look at y'all. Y'all wanna be that white family so bad." Grandma said referring to the movie We're the Miller's.

We both side-eyed her as she walked to the couch.

"I still love y'all though."

"Mmhm that's what they all say." Tempy said before laying back.

"Roll'em and I'll kick ya pregnant ass." Grandma said looking at Tempy with a death glare.

"Uh oh what happen?" Mama T asked as everybody walked into the room.

"Grandma Shyla came at our necks and then got mad." Tempy said pouting.

"Shyla leave the girl alone." Grandpops said sitting beside her.

"Or what?"

"Not today." Mama said shaking her head in disgust.

"You ready to get out?" Lele asked while rubbing Tempy stomach.

"No, why would I? I can get food brought to me at any time and it's not even normal hospital food."

"That's a damn shame. You don't wanna go home to your husband because of some damn food." Mama T said

"You don't get tired of the screams?" Justin asked

"Can't hear them unless your out in the hallway." She said shrugging her shoulders.

"How you know that Ms. Bed rest?" Jaya said causing us all to raise an eyebrow.

"Huh?" Temperance said before pressing the button for her nurse.

"Yes Mrs. Miller?" The nurse asked entering the room.

"Can I have some more ice cream?"

"Yes ma'am, anything else?"
