Temperance's Pov:

I looked at this girl as she looked at some clothes in the store.

Me and Anthony been going out everyday after my doctors appointment and today we just so happen to me at the mall.

"What's wrong Belly?" Ant asked looking at me.

I turned on the bench.

"I'm miss buying newborn clothes." I said before turning back to look at the woman as she picked up baby boy clothes.

"You really wanted a boy, did you." I said looking at him.

"I'm happy with a girl but it would have been nice to have a little me but I'm good with a little you."

I nodded my head and the stood up.

"So I say we enjoy these last few days of it being just us."

I'm due to go into labor on the 21st and it's already the 17th. I had my last doctor's appointment for both Dr. Coles and Dr. Lewis yesterday, so now we pretty much waiting for my water to break or for me to dilate 4 cm. I'm already 50% effaced but only 1 cm dilated.

"What you want to do?" He asked standing up as well.

I grabbed our bags and walked out the mall and to the car.

"Keys" I said as we came to a stop.

He passed me the key and then put the bags in the backseat.

I got in the drivers seat and started driving to the park we went to the first day we ever spend time together.

"You wanna go down memory lane so bad." Ant said as I parked the car.

I laughed at his stupid ass and then got out the car. I rushed to the other side of the car and opened the door for him, which only caused him to laugh.

"Baybeh what's up witcha?" He asked as we walked down the walkway.

I hit the lock on the key and then looked up at him.

"Nothing." I said as we continued to walk.

"I know you lying." He said wrapping his arms around me.

I smiled to myself and walked off to this little area that was more private.

"Okay cover your eyes." I said looking at him.

"Why?" He asked before kissing my lips.

"Just do it." I said looking at him with puppy dog eyes.

He finally covered his eyes and I grabbed his shirt leading him to the the picnic area.

I looked at everyone and then smiled. I pulled Anthony arms down and let him watch he smiled looking at everyone that was sitting at the tables.

Since father's don't normally get baby showers, I decided to have a little get together for Ant. So I invited basically everybody since Mama Samira, Mama, Grandma, Grandpops, Scarlett, and Shayjay are in town till the baby gets here and out of surgery.

"What's this about?" Ant asked walking to the table that held the cake. "You throwing me a baybeh shower?" He asked looking at me.

I nodded my head and waited for him to say something else.

"I love yo little corny ass man." He said pulling me into a hug.

"You gone be apart of the DADD?" I asked looking at him and then the cake.

"You already know it." He said smiling.

"Ain't let's get this father shower started." Jaya said causing everybody to laugh.

"Y'all so weird man." Mama sad before passing Ant a bag.

He pulled out a book called The First 90 days and then he pulled out more fatherhood books.

"Thank you mama T."

"It's something else in there." She said looking at him.

He digged in the bag and pulled out a box of condoms.

"We can't deal with this no more." She said pointing towards me.

"Ain't that the truth." Grandma Shyla said causing Robin to nod his head.

I looked at least of them with frowned eyebrows as they really started agreeing with her statement.

"I wasn't that bad."

"Whatever" Lele said rolling her eyes.

I looked at all them and then at Anthony.

"Can you believe this? A nigga hormones go all over the place, one day and I'm the worse pregnant person they ever met." I said rolling my eyes.

"Fuck you. This ain't about you, this is about Anthony." Robin said

"You must want to get smacked." I said looking at him. "But you right, this for Anthony." I added smiling.

Anthony shook his head and sat down.

"So shower me people." He said with a goofy ass smirk.

They all grabbed their gifts bags and walked over to him.

Once the gifts was exchanged, we talked for a while and then ate the cake -- which was only the part I was waiting on.

"Chocolate, this had to be you." Ant said looking at me.

"Got it." D said coming back with the ice cream.

We all grabbed a individual cup of ice cream and started eating with our cake.

"You know I just wanna thank y'all." Ant said looking up from his cake. "Not just for the father shower but just for y'all being her for me and Temperance through everything."

"Don't make me cry." Scarlett said

I looked at her and the watched as Shayjay hand laid on her stomach.

"Your pregnant." I said causing Grandma Shyla to hit me upside the head.

I rubbed my head and then looked at her.

"Wasn't your place to tell everyone."

"Grandma, come on that's a little over the top." Ant said looking at her.

"I'll hit you too."

"Yes I'm pregnant, I'm officially 8 weeks as of today." She said with a smile.

"Bout time, you been married the longest but yet is the last one to have a child." Mama Samira said rolling her eyes.

"Hopefully it's a boy, I'm tired of all these girls." Grandpop said shaking his head.

"This family is full of a lot of women." Mack said looking at all of the women.

"Well let's hope this baby keeps a clean bill of health while in the womb and out." I said smiling before hitting grandma back.

"You lucky you ready to have my great grand." She said side eyeing me.

I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"I love you." I cooed causing her to roll her eyes.

"I know." She said smiling back at me.

I straight faced her and everybody started laughing.

"All jokes aside, I really love all of y'all. Y'all become the family I didn't have growing up and I really can't wait for Kairah to meet all this love she got waiting on her." I said before wiping my tears.

"We love you too." They all said in unison.

Which only caused me to cry harder. Ant pulled me to him and rubbed my back.

"Ol' emotional ass." Shayjay said causing us all to laugh.

Man I really love this family. Like with my whole heart.
