"Soooooooooo" Lele said dragging out the o for no reason.
"What Lele?" I asked as we say down at the table our waitress showed us.
It's me, Lele, Sandy, Mama, Mama T, Grandma, Jaya, Scarlett, and Justin. They invited me to lunch and I'm not understanding why but they said their treat and who am I to pass up on free food.
"Have you talked to your dad?" Mama asked causing me to look up from my phone.
"Nope, I mean I wasn't expecting him to keep up that whole I wanna be in y'all life bs anyways. My child will be just fine with just a great Grandpops." I said locking my phone.
I put my phone in my pocket and looked at the menu. We at this Mexican restaurant that I never been to but I heard they food is good.
"What's the baybeh shower colors?" Grandma asked
"Pink and blue."
"How y'all gone reveal the gender?" Jaya asked
"Temperance told me that if I tell y'all anything more then the colors she will personally cut my dick off. Now I don't want that so ask different questions."
"Have y'all brought clothes yet?" Justin asked
"We brought a few outfits but we really been on the look for the coming home outfit."
"If y'all would just tell the gender we could help." Scarlett mumbled
"If y'all would actually try looking at unisex clothing." I said causing them all to roll their eyes.
The disrespect is strong.
"Are y'all exchanging vows at the hospital or once she come home?" Sandy asked
"We decided to exchange vows right when baby Miller go in for surgery."
They all nodded their heads and the waitress came and took our order of drinks.
"I still can't believe baybeh Miller is 11 weeks from being free." Mama said
"Right this has been a long journey but we are almost at the end." Mama T said
I nodded my head agreeing completely with her. This has been a very long and stressful time.
"I can't wait to find the gender." Sandy said smiling.
I smiled along with her and the pulled my phone out when it started ringing. I looked and seen Temperance texted me.
Wife: I miss you
HusBand: Baby Ihaven't even been gone a hour yet
Wife: 5 mins will make an hour
HusBand: really
