no song for this update, I'm to lazy to find a song to fit it lol

When Allison asked how Lydia's date with Aiden had gone on Friday night, Lydia had to restrain herself from gushing about Stiles showing up at her front door. Instead of Lydia telling the whole story, she smiled and said that Aiden was a nice boy that wanted to kiss her so badly. Allison was ecstatic for Lydia, she didn't trust Stiles because of his awful reputation that he took great pride in, she was glad Lydia had found Aiden. Allison's thoughts of happiness for her best friend were interrupted by Scott alongside Stiles himself striding down the hall like they owned the place, which some would say was probably very true. Lydia leaned against the cool blue lockers and couldn't help but gawk and how attractive Stiles looked, making the exhausting Monday morning a lot more exciting. Lydia's mouth dropped slightly, trying to keep herself from making a comment of how Stiles' blue and yellow sweatshirt made him look extremely good. Allison was sifting through the clutter of class notes and pink post it notes trying to find her notebook when she looked over to see her bestfriend practically drooling, she followed the direction of Lydia's eyes to see Scott and Stiles side by side talking to everyone in the hall way, which was a usual morning routine for the two boys. "Lydia seriously? you go on a date with Aiden and you make it seem like you're finally over guys that are going to break your heart and now you're eyeing his every move?" Allison rolled her eyes and walked away before Lydia could even try to say a word. She looked at the ground solemnly, trying not to let her bestfriend's disapproval bring her down. Lydia quickly turned to put in her combination, she grabbed her bright blue notebook and shut her locker door. She leaned her back against the cool metal and closed her eyes, rubbing her temple with two of her fingers. Stiles had walked with Scott all the way to his first class before he raced back to the other end of the school, there was no way Scott would know that Stiles had literally run a complete circle to get back to where Lydia was standing. Lydia looked humorously at the boy infront of her, doubled over with his hands on his knees, wheezing like an elderly man with asthma. Stiles looked up and managed to smile and Lydia who was giggling at his exhaustion.

"Hello Lydia", he suddenly felt like his words were stumbling out of his mouth, all he could seem to think about was the way he showed up at her doorstep the night before and ruined her date. He looked down at her lips for a split second, then quickly back up to her eyes, hoping they wouldn't have to address that he crashed her date. Lydia felt her face heating up at the way Stiles looked at her like he was trying to solve a complex puzzle. Lydia couldn't help but think about the words Allison said, about how she thought Lydia was "finally over boys that would break her heart", she couldn't help but wonder if Stiles would break her heart. She saw the way that Stiles handled girls, he would come into girls' lives and take what he pleased and he would leave without any indication of reasons why or attachment to the girls he was with. Lydia could feel her head suddenly start to hurt and her stomach start to twist into knots, she hated thinking about the way Stiles was with others. She felt like she needed proof that she could trust him, sure he could perform romantic gestures when they were all alone and fight for her when he was told he couldn't have her, but maybe that wasn't enough. It was as if she had forgotten Stiles was standing there as she let her thoughts carry her focus away, Stiles snapped his fingers and said something about how 'she could even make spacing out look adorable'. Lydia looked at Stiles and smiled before reluctantly asking him a question, "So you didn't hook up with Erica, I mean--you know when you came to my house you hadn't.--" Stiles noticed her discomfort and decided to answer her before she tried to form her sentence correctly, "I didn't, I thought I was going to. My plan was to take her home, but I found myself sending her to her house in a cab and wandering into your front yard." Lydia smiled at his answer and asked him another question, "Have you kissed any girls since we've been, you know--" Stiles raised his eyebrows waiting on Lydia to finish, making things even more difficult for her, "Involved". Stiles laughed at Lydia's reluctant sentence, "No I haven't."

Lydia made it evident that Stiles was being put to the test, He thought it was quite adorable that Lydia wanted to "test" him. He was perfectly fine with it considering he himself wondered if he was even worthy of being with someone like Lydia Martin. He couldn't help but be anxious, he knew he let his popularity status consume him and he let girls stick on him as if he was glue, so apart of him defiently thought this would be a challenge. The day continued and Stiles was confident he would past the test, he sent Lydia messages he knew would make her blush and he constantly looked at her like she hung the stars in the sky. When the two were walking to lunch Lydia told Stiles she would be going with Allison to pick up a few things at the store for the project she had to do in her last class. Stiles walked outside where the school yard had several places to eat set up in the grass, he decided he would sit with the lacrosse team and listen in on whatever pointless topics that they decided to talk about. Stiles was absentmindedly poking his food with a plastic fork when Jackson Whitemore spoke up, "So Stiles, word on the street is you're whipped by that Martin girl. Everyone says you're ready to put a ring on her finger" he laughed and the team looked at Stiles curiously, half of the people at the table hadn't even heard of Lydia before, "No it's not like that I'm not whipped or anything". Stiles could tell Jackson didn't believe that for a second, "People say you haven't gotten laid in months, they say since you started working on that project you've turned into the picture perfect boyfriend for the little red head", Stiles bit his tongue before he could correct Jackson and tell him that her hair was actually strawberry blonde. It was absurd for him to even let this effect him but to be quite frank when Stiles was not around Lydia, he was an asshole. He couldn't let his relationship change who he was, that's never been what he believed in. Even though he was never what everyone labeled him as, and whether he liked to admit it or not, Lydia had already changed him in many ways. Stiles couldn't stand the small snickers and comments coming from the table any longer, he looked straight at Jackson and knew he would regret whatever he was going to say next. "Listen I keep her around okay? I got bored with the girls that threw themselves at me, I needed to chase a pretty red head like Lydia. She's just a normal girl, simple yet challenging. She's a game, and you boys know I play to win." He didn't even regconize his voice as he spit out the venomous words towards Lydia, although it had looked as if he had done the job right, the boys had believed exactly what Stiles told them..even a very reluctant Jackson.

Stiles pulled his phone out of his pocket, planning to be discrete and send Lydia a text to see when she'd get back. He looked down at his phone screen to see something that made his eyes go wide and his breath get caught in his throat, he must have butt dialed Lydia when he sat down at the table because it showed that the two had an on going phone call. He raised the phone to his ear and listened, hoping that maybe Lydia was absent mindedly talking to Allison or singing loudly along with the car radio. He walked away from the table and cupped his hands over his mouth as he spoke into the phone, trying his best not to draw attention to himself. "Lydia", there was a pause of silence so he continued, "Lydia, ba-baby are you there?" His heart ripped out of his chest as he heard a loud sobb coming from his Lydia.
Lydia quickly forced down her sobs and sniffled like she had the worst cold,

"You definitely failed the test Stilinski".
