A/N this chapter is going be in Mason's POV

She was lying there, with shattered glass all over, how stupid could I have been, why did I let hannah do that, she was such a bitch anyways I didn't know what I was thinking, I reached my hands to find my phone, shit I left it inside, I screamed for help, a woman around her mid thirties dropped off the bus and pulled out her phone, I flicked off the glass that shattered all over her face, I slowly lifted her head onto my lap, I felt something warm and wet, blood, it was everywhere, too much, I can't believe it I dragged her into this, "Tatiana please, stay with me" I said, her eyes shot open, a sigh of relief flushed through me, but then it closed, almost too quickly, I wanted to see those eyes again I wanted to hear her voice. A gut feeling of guilt hit me, and then the wailing sounds of the ambulance grew closer and closer, "please, please help her" the guys walked over and pulled out the stretcher, they moved me away and lifted her up, cupping a mask over the top of her mouth and nose, I stood up and walked towards the ambulance, "I'm coming, I'm her friend." The guy nodded and I sat right beside her.

I watched her breath as the ambulance took short turns, her bleeding got much worse and I was getting worried, the guy lifted off his shirt, and used it to stop the blood from leaking, much, I was going to hit that guy but I realised it was for the good of her.

They pushed her into emergency room, but they pulled me away, "sorry sir you cannot go beyond this point", "please! please" I pleaded although I knew it wouldn't help. I was left standing at the hospital corridor. I have to contact her mum and dad and her friends, I have to. I borrowed a phone from the front office and typed in Abril's number, I remembered her number only because Tatiana made me, for fun.

"hello?" Abril said
"hey it's Mason, I-i don't know what I was doing but"
"get to the point please" Abril said a little annoyed,
"Tatiana's at the hospital"
"WHAT, MASON WHAT HAPPENED!" she yelled,
"she-she got hit by a car, I'm sorry, I'm -"
"quit it, I'm coming"
"and call"
"I will." she said hanging up on me.

I walked to the waiting area and sat down, head in my hands, I won't be able to forgive myself if she doesn't make it, wait what am I thinking, she will make it! she will. It felt as though I napped off to sleep.

"Mason! Mason wake up!" I heard someone shaking me, "what, Where's Tatiana?!" I yelled, "shh shh, she's asleep" Cacey said, "Can I see her?!" I asked, "after her parents and us" she said pointing to herself and the other girls. "what happened?" Abril scowls,
"I know it was all my fault and I'll- I'll admit it, but I was breaking up with her I swear, but then she kissed me and she saw and she walked out and then a the car was driving and she got hit! she got hit!" I yelled, "you asshole!" Abril shrieks, "we're in" Abigail said pulling them in, leaving me alone. I saw her parents, they walked straight toward me, "hi Mr and Mrs Valen" I said, pulling out my hand for a shake, Mr Valen's grip was hard but comforting and Mrs Valen pulled me into a hug as she cried, "and who are you?" she said smiling as she pulled me out, "I'm Mason, I'm your daughters friend" I smiled.

"your in" Abigail scowls and the 3 of them walked out. I nodded and pushed straight through the the door, she was lying there, her heartbeat slow, but she was alive, I moved around her bed and sat down on the chair, I looked at her, having the urge to grab her hand but I know she'd just pull away.. but I did it anyways, I pulled my hand out and grabbed her hand, how gentle and smooth her skin was, she was an angel to me, I can't believe I did this to you, "hey, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't of done that, today was meant to be the best day of my life, but I decided to ruin it" I said, I felt a tear slide down my cheek. When does Mason McDonell ever cry, for anyone, but I loved her, I loved her so much, I had to, the tear slipped down my cheek and hit the ground, I wiped it off and smiled at her, "I was going to ask you out. Here" I said pulling out the ring box, "this" I said opening it "was for you, I bought it the other day, I thought it would be beautiful on you, but I ruined it didn't I?" I felt more tears run down my cheek.

I put the box away, "when you wake up I'll make sure you'll receive this," I smiled, I moved over and kissed her forehead, "just please wake up" I whispered. Her eyes fluttered open I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding, my heart was beating out of my chest, "hey" I whispered, beeeeeeeeeeeeep! her eyes fell back and I shook her, "wake up! Tatiana! HELP!" I yelled, the doctors burst into the room, I stumbled back, not knowing what to do, "sir you need to get out, if you want to save her, please" the nurse says pushing me out, "she's loosing too much blood" the doctor said before the door shut on me. I stood there until I felt someone's hand grab my shoulder, "what did you do?!" Abril yelled, "I didn't do anything" I said, "you were crying?" Cacey said, I didn't say anything but there was a pause in silence, "you really like her don't you?" Abigail said, breaking the silence."Much more than you think".
