"what?" I yelp,

"I said what I said," he says glancing over at me, I couldn't speak, it was actually more like I didn't know what to say, I just looked over at him, and although they were step brothers, I could tell they acted like each other, and had almost the same style in clothing, they were practically twins,

"do you even know how old he is? And how many girls he takes home everyday?" Aidan says,

"no but I can live with that," I shrugged,

"no you can't," he says,

"you can't tell me what to do can or can't live with!" I yelled, he sighs and shakes his head, and climbs down the tree and in a few swift moves he lands on the ground, I didn't watch him, I didn't have feelings for him and honestly I feel bad for just saying that, and yelling at him. A part of me wanted to say sorry, to apologise for me raising my own voice on him, who was only at least trying to protect me, I looked around and it was starting to get sunnier, I left my phone at home and in no time the rest of the house might blow up in chaos. I slowly made my way down, counting the blobs of clouds dotted along the blue sky. I stand on the last branch closest to the ground and I jump down onto the leaf covered floor.

I looked around for Aidan, he wasn't anywhere around me, but his car was still there, I walked over to his car and there lied on top of the glossy black rooftop of his car were his car keys, I looked around for some sort of note, he left the car for me and either walked or took the bus home. I took the keys and walked over to the drivers seat, opening the door and plotting myself on the seat, the moment I closed the door, his cologne seeped up into my nose, I tried pushing out all the bad thoughts, but knowing me I couldn't.

I drove off and back home, looking more out of my window that at the road, my eyes constantly searching for Aidan, but I had no luck, no luck at all, I parked his car up at the house. As I approached the front door, there was no longer any screaming or yelling, not even a faint whisper, I slowly creaked the door opened, sticking my face in first.

Aidan. I looked at him, I tried saying something but my mouth only stayed shut he was sitting on the couch, by himself. I made my way over to where he was sitting and placed the keys gently on the coffee table, he didn't look up, I told myself to talk to him but my body spun by itself and made its way up the stairs towards Tayla's, I knock.

I couldn't hear anyone speaking inside but I heard shuffling and a thump, then the door swung open, I give her a small smile and she returns it with one as well, and then sticks her head out, looking side to side as if she was checking if anyone's was there. Then her hand outstretches and she tugs me right in to her room, I was confused but I swiftly moved in anyways.

"most of them went out," She says grabbing her phone,

"okay and why aren't you out?" I say sitting on her chair,

"I mean they fought this morning again, and it got out of hand and Abril is now living in a motel," she sighs, rubbing her face in frustration,

" oh god which motel?" I sighed,

"she doesn't want to see anything," Tayla says picking up her phone,

"so Caitlin?" I asked,

"she's doing worse, so worse her last resource is Damion," she faintly whispers,
