ch 4. Newbies.

We were all finally back together as a huge group, and I couldn't be happier. Daniel and Cacey were already on their 3 month anniversary and me and Mason, well today was out one month anniversary. "happy 1 month anniversary" Mason said walking in giving me a kiss on the cheek. "right back at you" I smiled hugging him tightly.

We walked into school as usual, my mum started to like Mason and his silly side much more now that he spent most of his time at my house. "I'll see you in first" he said kissing my forehead and walking away, I unlocked my locker and pulled my books in, locking it shut, I walked over to Abril's and Cacey's side of the locker, "morning" I smiled, "morning" Cacey smiled, "So hows Mason?" Abril winked, "what are you talking about, how are you and Caleb?" I winked.

She blushed, hiding her face in her locker, "we're doing great" Caleb says walking in hugging Abril, "alright guys keep your lovey dovey stuff for hometime" Daniel says walking in playing with Cacey's hair, I giggled, "I guess I'm the fifth wheeler here." I said laughing.

"where's Mason?" Daniel asked, "he's at his locker" I replied. I never spoke to Daniel much but I'm sure he's good to Cacey, and he's pretty good looking and hella athletic,I mean no wonder those two go together so well.

There was loud screaming and crowding somewhere at the front of the quad, "I'll be back" I said rounding the corner to take a look at what the hell was happening, oh right, newbies, I took a look closer and saw a guy and a girl, they sure looked like siblings but they came from different ways. The guy looked, oh my crap, where the hell was caitlin?! I run to where her locker was, I bump into Abigail first, "Hey have you seen Caitlin?" I asked, "yea she's right over there" Abigail pointing, "oh thankyou" I smiled running over, almost tripping over the banana skin on the floor. "Caitlin," I puffed, "yea?" she smiled, "Damion's here", the smile on Caitlin's face drooped down, "what do you mean?" she said still not convinced he was here, "Damion moved schools to here!" I almost shout too loud.

Cailtin moved and walked over to the middle of the quad, scanning her head to find him, "right over there" I said pointing over to the group surrounding Damion. "Oh shit!" she murmured, "It's him right?" I said looking at her, she seemed to be gobsmacked, "I need to find Sam," she stuttered, "Uh I think I saw him at Mason's locker" I said walking over to Mason's locker, "Sam!"I yelled, "hey" he smiled, "uh Damion is not attending oxfords anymore," I said trying to ease him into the situation, "and?" he said a little confused, "he's here right now" Cailtin said, his eyes widened and he stormed right past us in Damion's direction, Cailtin comes running out stands in front of him, "Sam not on his first day" she says. There was a long pause until Sam sighs and finally agrees nodding and walking away.

"what was that about" Mason said walking over to my side, "Oh that's a very long story" I huffed, the bell rings, "alright see you in geography" I smiled, "alright" he said walking away. I grabbed my books and walked over to cailtin's locker, "are you ready?" I smiled, "yep" she said sounding a little down. "hey we can get this sorted." I smiled, reassuring her that everything was going to be okay. We went to Mason's locker after and the three of us walked to geography. We got into class a little earlier than usual, but on the way caitlin was quieter than usual, not as bubbly as she'd usually be when we used to walk together. "Is caitlin alright?" Mason whispered as cailtin goes in to talk to Mrs Merley, "its Damion" I said placing my books on the table and sitting down, Mason follows me and puts his books to the desk on the left of me. "are you going to tell me the story any time soon?" he asked, "well it isn't my story to share so I better ask Caitlin first" I said opening my books.

"sorry" Cailtin says placing her books to the desk on the right of me. We start working on what we were assigned to do. Then the door bursts open, it happened all the time so most of the class were never bothered looking up because it was either someone borrowing a desk or another teacher who left their keys in the room last period. "uh excuse me Class" Mrs Merley says, I could hear Mason groan beside me, "shh" I laughed. "we have a new student from oxford" Mrs Merley announces. Cailtin's head shot up. "what the-" Cailtin starts, "shh" I hush, "he'll be joining us for the semester," Mrs Merley says guiding him to his seat which was to our relief on the other side of the room.

Throughout the lesson Cailtin didn't seem into the work, she didn't write much and was very quiet. Whereas Damion seemed to be having lots of fun but funnily enough kept on looking over at Caitlin. "Caitlin, he's looking at you" I whispered, "let that dickhead stare" she snarls. "excuse me girls, mind telling me the story?" Mason asks, Caitlin laughs and starts rambling on about the story. "So Sam is?" Mason says, "say it any louder and the whole class will know" I snapped at him. He chuckled and smiled.

Class finished in a whoosh, it was probably because we were talking and having too much fun, but of course there's a catch to it, I had a tonne of classwork and extra homework to do tonight. On the way out of class I try tripping cailtin but it didn't work so I tried Mason, funnily enough it hit him first try and he hit into Damion, oh shit "oh sorry there mate" Mason apologises, "no it's my fault, I'm sorry" I said butting in, Mason shot me a glare, "Oh its okay, you guys probably know who I am right?" Damion says, "yea it's Damion right?" I said, giving him a genuine smile. "Well I'm Tatiana and he's Mason" I smiled pointing at Mason making sure he kept his attention towards us and not Caitlin. "I'm her boyfriend" Mason says, I elbow him in the rib, he flinches a little and Damion lets out a laugh. His eyes look over at Caitlin and stay there for a long moment, now thinking of it, Damion was pretty hot, structured body, lean, nice bronde hair flicked over to a side of his head. Almost like Justin Bieber but just a younger version.

I looked at Cailtin and she looked over at me, I mimed out 'run' and catch Damion's attention while she makes her escape, "run forest run" I heard Mason murmured, "Mason!" I yelled.
